Great experience and very tasty food

Service and atmosphere are really nice, the food is top notch. Will go over and over again.

Recommend the sharing platter.

STUNNING

I've been to Terre Terre many times over the years and NEVER get bored. The food is original and delicious. I can't remember the name of of dish but my favourite thing to have is the vegan sharing platter for two. Highly recommended if you're in Brighton and fancy a treat (can be a little on the pricy side but so worth it).

Pros: Food, Service

Phenomenal food

Probably one of the best places I’ve eaten. The food is expensive but it is totally worth the experience as you get what you pay for. Their KFC was one of the best taste experiences I’ve had.

unfortunately not for me

I really wanted to like this place. I'm not usually a fine dining person, so waited for a special occasion, but it was unfortunately no good. I actually wrote to them as it was that level of no good.. They were very responsive and apologetic, and invited us back. We tried again with 3 courses each and wine, and it was better but nothing special unfortunately. The ambience wasn't my thing, the food not my preferred dishes. I also found it very expensive for what it was, even for an upscale restaurant. I recommend the other nearby fine dining place over TAT

Pros: Lots of vegan options, In city centre, Customer service via email was great

Cons: Expensive - not all vegan, Not my ambience , Staff a little standoffish from my 2 experiences

Possibly my favourite restaurant meal ever

Although vegetarian, almost everything can be made vegan and the menu is really clear. The food is right up my street and everything tasted incredible. Staff were friendly and chatty, and loved the background music.

After a weekend of food, I was too full for dessert but decided to order a single truffle. It was served like a beautiful mini dessert!

Will be coming back to Brighton for the sole reason of eating here again!

Great menu- confusing portion sizes

We ordered the Lavash bread as a starter which was an enormous portion of deep fried bread.
My partner ordered the KFC for her main which was a depressingly small portion size, 4 little bits of cauli plus a tiny ball of rice. Yet for the same price, I ordered the Bao buns and got 4 very large buns that felt too big of a portion. We were very confused as to why they were so different!!
We also ordered the spicy bang chips which were incredibly disappointing and basically just fried bits of oil.
Lovely staff however and great cocktails.

Pros: Exciting and intriguing menu , Lovely staff / customer service , Cosy outside area

Cons: Very expensive , Too small portion sizes , Not incredible flavours

Innovative, Unique and Exquisitely Palatable

Absorbing a menu with multiple unfamiliar ingredients evokes a strange kind of curiosity. My friends and I spent a great deal of time working our way through trying to dissect what was on offer. The staff were very patient with our serious questioning and the result was that we could not have been more delighted with our choices. The hoi sin marinated sesame tofu and vegan rosti were first class. I have to admit that I would have preferred not to share them. We had to have pudding as well and opted for the churros and a brownie with ice cream which did not disappoint. My parents returned a few months later on my recommendation on their day trip to Brighton.
Must book in advance. Worth the money.

Food okay but overpriced

Food was nice (nothing super amazing, still good) but just super expensive. We had the tapas which are 17 pounds per person (!) and you don’t really get much for what you pay.
Anyways, dessert was nice !

Pros: Lots of vegan Options

Cons: Super expensive , Portions too small

Lovely, innovative food

There are so many vegan options and almost everything can be made vegan. The food was great and my group of vegans and meat-eaters all left very happy.

Pros: Good food, Nice vibe, Interesting menu

Cons: Can get expensive

Came here for a special occasion as a mixed group of omnis, veggies and vegans and not one person was disappointed. Such good variety, loved the bao buns.

One of our favourites

We get to Brighton as often as we can and if we do we eat here first. Delicious food, with good vegan choices and dishes they can adapt. Great service. We went recently with our non vegan/veggie friends, and they enjoyed the food also.

Pros: Delicious fine food

Cons: Can get expensive

Stupendous food!

The best food I’ve ever eaten. It’s amazing. We always travel to come here for special occasions because it’s so good. The puddings are unbelievably good, so good I fact that I always get an extra one or two to take home. If you’re looking for some fine vegan do dining you don’t need to look further than here. Don’t forget to book!

Pros: The best vegan puddings ever, All the food is fresh and totally delicious , Knowledgeable and friendly staff

Cons: Not cheap but worth the money

Special Evening out

This is great place to go for a treat. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of ginger so that took 3 of 5 choices out for the main course

Fabulous afternoon tea

I enjoyed an amazingly creative vegan afternoon tea at Terre a Terre to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Everything was a wonderful taste sensation. The savoury course was beautiful, not a sandwich in sight! Pickled Japanese vegetables on rice crackers, stuffed bao buns, a gorgeous hot onion bhaji type mouthful of goodness. The large warm scone with homemade jam and whipped coconut cream was perfect. I’ve had many afternoon teas in my time but the sweet selection here was very special and nothing predictable, no signs of a cupcake or a Victoria sponge! I photographed the menu as it was all so intricate and difficult to remember. The waitress was lovely. This is just a great place for vegan food, why don’t go they vegan?!! 🤷‍♀️

Pros: Creative, intricate and delicious vegan food , Ambient, Lovely staff

Cons: I’d love them to go vegan!

Hen do party

I came here on my hen do and I wasn't sure what to expect. We had the regular afternoon tea which was an Asian fusion and it was amazing. My only complaint is that they didn't have any fruit tea but I had a lovely light green tea called peacock.

Afternoon Tea (vegan)

We booked afternoon tea for two. Exactly the treat I was after. Really lovely staff too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend for a special occasion.

Pros: All plates and the tea were spot on.

Cons: My partner prefers savoury, he wanted a bit more.

One of the best meals I've had

Get the sharer platter! Staff were awesome, food was presented spectacularly (and there was lots of it), and the taste combinations were so well thought out.

Pros: Loads of vegan options., Great staff

Cons: A little expensive, but entirely worth it.

Always changing, never changing

Now that Kastoori in Tooting seems to be (sadly) shut forever, Terre à Terre must be the best vegetarian restaurant in Britain. When I first went, it was all delicious pulse flavours; now it's wasabi-inspired fusions. As they say, it's all about indulgence, not abstinence - and why not?

Simply the best veggie/vegan restaurant in the UK

High end vegan food that never fails to deliver. Set menu is a reasonable price and the food never fails to deliver.
