Middle Eastern inspired fast food - WTP serves made to order fresh pitas stuffed with whatever you choose. Your pita will be overflowing with delicious salads and ‘meat’. I’m pretty sure they use This Isn’t Chicken. Portions are very generous. You won’t leave hungry. There are a small number of indoor tables and a couple of outdoor tables. Can’t recommend the ‘chicken’ gyros enough.

It’s been a looong time since we’ve had a doner kabab so we were pleased to find this place while visiting Brighton. I had the more tradition one and my partner had the chik’n one and both were so good. Lots of food. Nice staff. Would definitely go again.

Grabbed a falafel wrap from here to have on the beach for lunch. It was nice! Nothing special. Many similar wraps are made slightly too saucy, so it all dribbles out by the end, but not this one. Definitely worth checking out.

Bought a mega takeaway from here as it was our last day in the area. Both the chickn and doner gyros were amazing. Paprika fries were soft and tasty. Whipped feta with flat bread very tasty, as well as the snicker filled cookie.

I’ve eaten at other WTP branches so only popped in to takeaway on this occasion. This branch is quite large, despite being quite busy there was still seating available. The salad ingredients in the glass counter looked very fresh. Staff were busy with orders so it wasn’t a really warm welcome, you also order on tablets located by the counter area yourself. I took away a drink and a slice of baklava, nice enough but didn’t blow me away.

Tasty Christmas Gyros - Edit
This was the third branch of What The Pitta I’ve visited and I came away with a similar feeling to the other two - I enjoyed the food and found it tasty but I was just left feeling a bit underwhelmed. This branch has space to eat in or takeaway and you can order via the counter or one of two digital screens. The staff were very friendly as usual.
Read moreThis time my wife and I each went for the Christmas Gyros with a side of 3 falafel. The wrap was tasty with a generous amount and variety of fillings and lots of sauce. The falafel was nice and warm with a crispy coating. Both items were tasty but just didn’t hit the heights for me unfortunately.
