Serves meat, vegan options available. Middle Eastern food located right next to Ching Wok (same owner). Offers vegan hummus, tabouli, falafel, and babaganoush (not made with yogurt, so it's vegan). Please ask for the special vegan pepper spread. Owner supportive of vegans. Open Mon-Sat 10:30am-9:00pm. Closed Sun. Please check hours before going. Serves lunch and dinner most days.

Vegan Middle Eastern Fare in Holbox - Delish!

Jesus (also owns Ching Wok) is very accommodating to vegans and gluten-free diets. He has delicious vegan and gluten-free hummus, falafel and babaganoush, plus tabouli that is vegan but not gluten free. It's a casual food-truck feel (tiny restaurant stalls) and one of the few places that accepts credit cards. Overall we were challenged in Holbox to find vegan and gluten free options other than fajitas, corn tortillas and guac - even in veg and the one vegan place where we ate. We had so many options in Playa Del Carmen and Tulum, but Holbox, not so much. We were so grateful to find Jesus's restaurants for some vegan variety and incredibly tasty food.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Owner understands vegan and is welcoming, Affordable and tasty

Cons: Serves meat, Limited drink options, Not listed on Google maps yet
