delicious vegan options - Edit
ate here twice for dinner during my stay in holbox. i got the vegan sandwich both times. its totally delicious and the side of fries r rly good as well. the staff are also super friendly and helpful with the vegan options and know a lot about the menu. its all one room so ur practically in the kitchen, which i like. theyve also got handmade vegan truffles !! they taste similar to a frozen chocolate peanut butter cup. this place also has cool swings u can sit on while eating which i rly liked. thank u for the delicious meal !!💗

Very nice staff, vegan options, very conscious - Edit
Really cute place with vegan options that include 3 or 4 empanadas, one sandwich, one plantain burger and special vegan dips as well as truffle chocolate. The staff is really helpful and conscious about vegan food and also offers to switch the ingredients so that vegetarian options are possible to order in a vegan version. The cuisine is Argentinean, and they have very lovely swing chairs to sit and a few tables outside as well.
Read moreIt can happen that some of the empanadas are already sold out, so make sure to go there early.
We went there twice during our stay and also found out that one of the staff members is vegan herself, so we felt in even better hands.
Would definitely recommend Alta Gula!

Alta gula (slang for very hungry) was such a gem. Beautifully prepared dishes, tasty sauces (that were customized for us and easy to browse vegan options.
