We came here twice, and just ordered off the breakfast / brunch menu. The first time had enchiladas and the second time sopas. Both were delicious! Can also ask for chorizo made from mushroom.

Excellent Vegan - Edit
Several people have recommended Suwa to my wife and me, but it's a bit of a walk from our house. We finally gave it a try for brunch and were extremely impressed. The enmoladas and chiliquiles were excellent. We're excited to go back to try the menu after their break from 12:30 to 1:30, which appears to be a five-course vegan meal. I'm confident it will be a treat.

Cada vez que entro a suwa siento que ya quiero conocer a los dueños y presentarme formalmente porque 1) me encantan las pinturas y las decoraciones 2) la comida es muy rica y creativa 3) los veganos son pocos y hay que juntarnos socialmente o algo jajaja. Pero en serio, llevo a todos mis amigos no veganos a suwa porque sé que sus platillos siempre van a impresionar y representar bien la gastronomía vegana.
Read moreRecomiendo las enchiladas, el café de olla, sus comidas con varios cursos (los de la cocina son creativos— es como una experiencia más Gourmet), los chilaquiles, y los hotcakes (tienen un sabor y textura rico y complejo, no puedo replicarlo jaja creo que es porque agregan amaranto?)
No es caro y si viviera en Qro, iría todos los días 😱

First timer to visit this place while staying in Centro area. - Edit
It's a small cozy restaurant with a few outdoor seating. We were greeted by a nice gentleman (owner?) and we chose a pre fixed lunch menu 4 course meal for $130 peso each person. The food are delicious and ended with a mini desserts.

The restaurant is nice, the staff was great, the prices felt appropriate and my plate looked beautiful but in the end the taste of my enchiladas left me unfulfilled.

The food seemed to me quite dry. There were not may fruits used and there are no juices etc offered just licuados. The pancakes looked nice but i haven’t tried them
