Espectacular

¡Todos los moles son veganos!
Y cada uno es mejor que el anterior.
Tienen una amplia carta de opciones veganas y vegetarianas.
Imperdible auténtica alta cocina mexicana.

Pros: Variedad, Sabor, Ambiente

Good vegan options

Came here twice during our stay. They bring you a complimentary appetizer which is delicious (specify no cheese) and chips with salsas and a cabbage mixture. Had the mole enchiladas the first time, and a tostada with beans / veggies the second time (I forgot the name of the dish). Ask for the veg menu.

Delicious food and knowledgeable host

Upon arrival, the host was very knowledgable about their vegan offerings. They have a separate vegetarian menu that denotes vegan options although ask the host as there seem to be more vegan options than even denoted on the menu. All their mole's are prepared vegan so you can order many items with mole and without animal products. I ordered a Tlayuda topped with mole, cactus, and lettuce. Be sure to tell the wait staff when taking your order if you want a vegan preparation (and specify 'sin queso') as originally they ended up preparing my tlayuda with cheese and they remade it quickly and graciously without cheese. The mole is fantastic, my family and I loved the Oaxacan black mole (mole negro). There are vegan dessert options but I didn't order any on this occasion.

The ambiance is wonderful and they have a cute back patio area with vining plants up the walls. I went on a quiet Monday afternoon so the restaurant was not very busy.

Note that the vegetarian menu includes chapulines (grasshoppers) so careful when ordering from the veg menu if you don't eat chapulines.
