Sushi on a train

They had a good variety of vegan and vegetarian items that were all pretty tasty and very affordable. it's super cute and fun that they were on little plates on a model train that continually drove around in a circle and you could grab what you want as it went past.

Pros: Food brought to you on a train!!!!, Good selection of rolls and other items, Comfortable atmosphere

Solid vegan options

Overall, I love Sushi Ichiban. They have a lot of vegan rolls, a couple of vegan bao options, a decent vegan ramen, and it's very affordable. It's a solid choice for cheap and fast vegan sushi, but so far there aren't any rolls that blow me away. The vegan ramen is good but it's somewhat mid (the miso broth could use bolder flavoring, maybe more spice). But, I'm never sad to eat here.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Vegan bao options and ramen, Fast, friendly service

Cons: They mix veggie and vegan rolls together on menu, No mind-blowing vegan sushi rolls, Felt like I was menu hacking to get a vegan ramen

Delicious Japanese cuisine

This is not fast food. This is a restaurant.

Apparently everything on the menu can be veganized, as long as the order is not meat-centric. Vegetarian meals are denoted by a V, so specify to your server that you want it vegan. The staff was very accommodating and helpful!

Includes complimentary cucumber water and edamame.

It was delicious! Only stopped eating for fear of making myself sick.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, Delicious food, Bathrooms will give you Japanese lessons

Cons: It was busy, A tad pricey

Good value for price

The vegan sushi rolls were pretty good, but not as good as others I’ve had. If you’re looking for a cheap, very casual place this would fit the bill. A bit rough around the edges with odd decor, but staff were friendly and attentive.

Pros: A few vegan sushi rolls and other items, Friendly staff, Cheap

Favorite spot for sushi

I'd give 5 stars if possible. This place seems at first to be a hole in the wall but with the sushi train and vegan options it can't be missed. Try the Eliza or Caboose rolls, they're fantastic. You can grab from the train if you know what the vegan rolls look like, or I usually just ask the chefs to point them out to me as they come by (they're super nice and helpful and will make vegan options by request too!) Not to mention this place is CHEAP. Like most train places they charge by the plate and I always leave super full for under 10 bucks.

Pros: vegan options, fun sushi train, friendly staff, gr
