Eh. Not great. - Edit
They do have pizza by the slice, which is awesome. I got their meat pizza which had faux chicken. It was pretty nasty. I wouldn’t go back. From now on I only go to Rudy’s pizza.
Read morePros: Nice by the slice , Convenient – near Powell’s
Cons: So-so taste. Kinda bland. , Chicken was nasty.

Vegan Options! - Edit
While I prefer the East Burnside location overall, it's nice to have several locations throughout Portland & each carries slice options as well as regular & large pies that are vegan-friendly.

Vegan pizza by the slice - Edit
One of the very few pizza places I've ever seen to actually offer vegan pizza by the slice. Had the Margherita equivalent (that's not what it's called, but can't remember the name now). Also got an order of vegan garlic knots with vegan ranch which is an absolute MUST. So carb laden and yummy. Sit at the high tops in the seating area, enjoy a slice (or two) and enjoy the people-watching with Powell's as your backdrop.

Really good, crispy thin crust pizza. Reliably delicious, which is exactly what we want from a pizza place.

Vegan pizza was glorious. - Edit
I'll be completely honest.. I was super fkd up when I visited Sizzle Pie. I don't remember anything but that delicious pizza and the "eh" old fashioned. I was probably "that drunk lady" and I'm cool with it.

Love Sizzle Pie! - Edit
Love Sizzle Pie for their vibes, pizza, and beer. Went around 1pm on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. Tried two slices of the vegan options they had that day which were a vegan cheese pizza and a bbq jackfruit pizza. A major plus is that their ranch is vegan!! Honestly pretty reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend!

Slices for vegans - Edit
I love a place that has vegan slices available to eat. The crust was thin and crispy. The two I tried were good. I would go back.

The dough is the best part. The toppings also delicious, but oh my, a warm fluffy dough is the key to my heart

Came all the way to Portland for this place! - Edit
The location in Seattle closed a while back and I was having a hardcore craving for it so I planned to whole trip to Portland 🙂 Love the slice and salad combo for cheap. And that they always have three vegan pies available. Boyfriend is definitely a pizza connoisseur and he loved it. I heart you Sizzle, come back to Seattle! 😭

Good - Edit
I’m not too big of a fan of the New York style pizza, all thin and droopy. But it’s a good quick option for a slice downtown. I appreciate that they have a couple vegan options all the time, but they do seem to have sit out all day and aren’t as fresh.

LOVE SIZZLE PIE. Still pissed the Seattle spot closed. You can always count on the trusty “spiral tap” if nothing else.

Amazing vegan options - Edit
Many many vegan options in convenient location in downtown portland. Overall great, I had a slice of Spiral tap (super yummy with generous slice for price) and garlic rolls with 3 vegan sauces. Great prices and very real tasting pizza and garlic rolls. Also had vegan dessert options available.

They have 3 diffident kinds of vegan pizzas available by the slice and I got one of each but you can also customize a pizza. They were DELICIOUS and they don’t just use Daiya - they are very creative with the cheese. They also have housemade vegan ranch with the buffalo pizza - it was AMAZING!! Highly recommend!!

Tasty pizza - Edit
I was very happy to see 2 vegan options in the case that I could choose from when getting slices (and even more options on the menu). The pizza was great and I even liked the vegan cheese that was on it (which is rare). I just wish I had thought to get the vegan ranch as a topping. I bet it was delicious based on how everything else tasted.

Exciting and artfully prepared vegan pizzas - Edit
The greatest part of my trip to Portland was the exciting surprise that I could find a vegan meal around nearly every corner. I doesn't expect to have much of a selection at Sizzle Pie when I walked in; however I found a wonderfully inclusive Vegan selection among the non vegan options. Of the seven prepared pizzas available to get a slice of for lunch, three of them were Vegan. These choices were entirely original and deliciously satisfying. An added bonus, was the option of a nutrional yeast shaker among the classic red peppers and parmesan. Great Portland place for a vegan to get a slice and a drink for lunch, can't wait for my next trip.
