Good bagels and shmear - Edit
All the bagels were labeled, which is super nice. Good selection of vegan shmears and the staff was super nice. Soy and oat milk options for coffee which is good. No seating but within walking distance of a lot of hotels.

From Bowery to Broadway - Edit
I ordered The Jesse Applegate (vegan cheese, egg, and sausage) on a sesame bagel. The sandwich looked and tasted buttery, but the menu doesn't mention that. It was good, but I would have enjoyed it more had there been somewhere to sit down to eat.

Breakfast yums - Edit
Had a Jesse Applegate on parvesan. It was warm, delicious, hit the spot - and was fully vegan! Very friendly service, as well. Would recommend for a quick breakfast. Might be best to take it to-go though, as there is no seating area. (Sorry, no pictures... forgot to take some as I was too hungry!)

Cons: No seating (one small window countertop, only), Neighbourhood might be offputting for some

Vegan options grilled IN bacon fat - Edit
Title refers to my experience in my back-of-house work at this establishment- this issues was raised w/ management and met with claims that the issue was a result of financial limitations (‘not gonna get a second grill!’ — that’s fine, but it doesn’t mean you get to mislead people). It is absolutely not ok to claim an item as vegan when it is cooked on the same side of the same tiny grill as meats, which is NEVER scraped. This means that all the vegan eggs and sausage a literally cooked in pork fat! 100% not vegan or vegetarian. As a lifelong vegetarian this knowledge would absolutely affect my decision to purchase a so called “vegetarian” item and I think it is extremely important that people know this information so they can make an informed decision:) if you are looking for a truly vegan option, the plant based cream cheeses are 100 percent vegan

Great vegan breakfast option! - Edit
This was one of my go-to breakfast options, since our hotel didn’t offer breakfast and we wanted something that was walkable and grab and go.
Read moreI think almost all or all of their bagels are vegan. They have a great spread called “vegan bomb.com” which I highly recommend. It’s a bit messy and smooshes out the sides of the bagel as you eat it, but it so yummy, you can just use the bagel to scrape it up as you eat your way through the bagel.
They also have juices, coffee, etc here as well.

Get the Applegate - Edit
There is a vegan sandwich called the Applegate here, it’s very good! Clearly labeled on the menu as well so that’s helpful. They also have good coffee and the bagels themselves are great!

All bagels are vegan - Edit
This place does serve meat/cheese/eggs, but all of the bagels are vegan and they have vegan egg, sausage, and cheese to make a sandwich. Also have multiple vegan toppings for the bagels. Enjoyed everything I’ve had here.
