Casual Fine Dining with Vegan Options, Helpful Staff - Edit
Casual fine dining restaurant with elegant decor and a focus on natural whole-food plant-based ingredients! Only set meals are available, no a la carte: $23.80 4-course weekday set lunch, $32.80 6-course or $38.80 8-course all-day set meals. Alliums, egg, dairy, and peanut clearly labelled in the menu. Personally find the menu more vegan-friendly compared to the other meatless casual fine dining eateries in Singapore (though of course I’ll always be delighted with more vegan options). Standouts for me were the Double-Boiled Cordyceps White Fungus Soup with Black Garlic, Miso-Kombu Soup with Lotus Seeds, and Wild Mushroom Spaghetti with Pesto Sauce (rich and creamy considering it was dairy-free). Ambience and food aside, I’d like to thank the staff for being really helpful! Silly me left my phone behind at the restaurant; the staff waited past their opening hours hoping to return it to me but I took a long time to realise it. Thereafter they replied my friend’s Facebook message query even late into the night to reassure us that they had found the phone and that it was kept safely with them. When I returned the next day to collect my phone, they had thoughtfully charged my phone to full battery for me. An F&B with a heart not just for serving nourishing food but also serving customers! Located within Raffles City Shopping Mall, connected to City Hall MRT.

Sufood, Singapore - Edit
2 of us went here last night. The meet and greet guy dismissively turned us away, stating the resto had closed early due to a special function.

Wasn’t my cup of tea - Edit
Was impressed by the price and options but unfortunately I didn’t find any course edible, perhaps I just made some bad choices? Very unique, I haven’t come across anything like this cuisine before. It was well presented and the service was great. Always good to try something new.

Fine dine in reasonable price - Edit
Vegetarian and Vegan Fine dine in reasonably price. They served 6 dish or 8 dish meal. I took the 6 dish meal.
Read moreIt all comes with a very sweet juice, starter, salad, soup and main dish (the 8 dish include a beverage and dessert).
There are few vegan option, more Vegetarian.
I will recommend to go once and give it a try, I'm not sure if I will come back again but it is an experience that you should try.
The four stars because they didn't let my girlfriend sit with me without ordering, she is picky and it was not for her. she went to eat in different place.
Pros: Food arrived fast, Delicious , 6-8 course

Tasty but not as vegan friendly as it used to be - Edit
There were some good choices for vegan options, however there were more last time we visited in 2019. We went for the 8 course menu and everything we had was delicious. All very small portions but that is what you expect with fancy dining.
Read morePros: Nice vibe, Fully veggie, Good value 8 "course" meal
Cons: Not as many vegan options as hoped/previously, No need for diary cheese to be used, Could easily be vegan

confusing 4 course meal - Edit
TLDR: nice salad & soup, questionable breadstick & charcoal ‘tagliatelle’, so choose your main wisely (elaborated below)
Read moretried the 4-course meal ($25.90)
the salad sauce coats the ingredients evenly, so everything tastes quite similar (like a fruity mayo), almost only distinguishable by texture. the avocado doesn’t have that raw taste, but a mild earthiness which is nice!! the beet root also tastes fresh. there’re also macadamia nuts and pineapples!
the soup was very herbal, with 2 fried tofu, burdock (my sister’s portion didn’t have tho…), carrot, radish. i like herbal so it was nice for me!
the charcoal ‘tagliatelle’ is more similar in texture to udon (just flattened slightly) than the italian tagliatelle. and from the appearance (raw lettuce leave) i would expect to taste some kinda garlic olive oil mixture, but then i tasted basil strongly, and that threw me off alot, because it tasted more like herbal noodles than garlicky pasta that i expected. so i was very confused as i was eating, and i didn’t realise it was basil until i found the sauteed leaves inside.
the bread sticks were flaccid and tasted quite mild…couldn’t taste the rosemary, so it’s just slightly salty bread. somehow felt the white dip tastes like wholegrain mustard mixed with mayo which is a strange combo tbh…

Elemens better than sufood - Edit
Overall standards have lost out to elemen. When it first pioneered this concept, they were excellent. Elemen has caught up since, and all the dishes are way much tastier without it even using garlic. Here, they need a revamp of their menu to catch up with times
Read morePros: Signature dishes kept their standards, Convenient location in town
Cons: Very expensive , No membership to attract loyalty

Simply delightful! - Edit
Located at the Central and easily accessible, this is a lovely place to enjoy an incredibly healthy and scrumptious meal with vegetarian/non-vegetarian friends or colleagues. Most of the non-vegetarians that dine here with me, like this place and find that the food is nice.
Read moreFor the 4-course dinner (4-course menu @ $25.8 ++), I’d Energized Salad with Avocado & Macadamia, Cream of Black Truffle Soup and Wild Mushroom Charcoal Tagliatelle. Their Chickpea Burger is unique and yummy too.

It’s a pass - Edit
The proportions are small. I just got two salads and basically it’s just 3 leafs of lettuce 3 tomatoes, pieces of pineapple, 2 chunks of tofu and that’s it. It’s not what you can expect from the pictures and some of the reviews.

Very flavourful meals - Edit
I came here with my friends for dinner for the first time and the food blew me away! We got the breadsticks, sweet potato macadamia salad and miso-kombu soup to share. The breadsticks were warm, soft and fragrant with rosemary - so good that we ordered extra! Salad and soup were not so impressive but okay. For mains we had the oyster mushroom stone pot rice, curry risotto and chickpea rice burger. Out of all the stone pot rice was my favourite!! Perfectly crisp at the bottom of the stone pot, and fragrant with sesame oil. Really loved the oyster mushrooms as well! The chickpea burger was however very disappointing. We expected a solid rice burger but it turned out to be really mushy and couldn't hold its shape at all. Do not get this if you want a proper burger. It was more like a pile of mush when we had it, but flavourwise was alright. Side sweet potato fries were good though!
Read morePros: Must get the breadsticks!, Pricey, but reasonable considering the location , Friendly servers
Cons: Chickpea burger was way too mushy

disappointing - Edit
had a lunch and as soon as went to order I didn't feel comfortable. the best thing about the menu was clear markings for vegan food.
Read morewe tried to order a child's meal and were told we were too early, we asked when we could order and was told next month! why have it on the menu?
it was lunch and we only wanted a main, we were pushed to get the taster menu. this wax too big, we got a main each which was half the price of the seven course taster (and the same size).
the food tasted like a chain restaurant, not local food, a bit rubbery, it looked great didn't taste it. I hate to give bad reviews.......

Delicious set menu - Edit
The description on here says it isn't the sane as the Taiwanese restaurant with same name but the menu was identical...and that's a good thing as the food is delicious
Read moreWe chose the set menu which costs SG$29++ and starts with an appetizer of 3 tiny dishes with exquisite taste and you are instructed an order to eat them in.
A small vinegar cider to accompany the salad course. The fruits and summer salad were both very fresh.
The pumpkin soup was fine and the calzone was very large as were most of the mains. Other guests had pizzas and all enjoyed them.
To finish the meal, I chose the vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce followed by a quenching berry juice.
Only complaint was the food was brought up very quickly, the next course whilst still eating the previous one but it was close to closing time.
Pros: Lots of choice, Informative staff, Good value
Cons: Slightly rushed
