Fantastic

I ordered the poke bowl with added soy chicken. It was fantastic! Lost of quality ingredients and flavour. Highly recommend!

Vegan Hainanese chicken rice is fantastic

So happy I got to try a veganised version of the traditional dish of Hainanese chicken and rice. It was done so well, the vegan chicken was very impressive, without the overly-chewy texture you get with some fake chicken, and the accompaniments were all tasty and plentiful. Best vegan meal I’ve eaten in Singapore by far, and there was enough to fill up on. Also tried a vegan slider which was great and the fries which I really liked.

Incredible Hainanese chicken rice

First time I've ever seen a vegan version of this and it was really really good. Lovely surroundings and friendly staff, the indoor section was still open air but with fans (though can be closed as well, I imagine depending on weather).
We also got the vegan pad Thai as again it was the first time seeing one with veggie prawns, and the vegan hoisin duck wrap special, though the chicken rice was my personal highlight.

Pros: Great vegan options and swaps , Really lovely area and ambience , Veggie versions of things you don't often see

Cons: Not all menu options are possible to make vegan

Great vegan salad

Multiple vegan choices on the menu. I had the vegan salad with vegan chicken - it was a big portion and very satisfying. Lots going on in it, but I enjoyed it.

Pros: Great location, Multiple vegan choices , Fair prices

Vegan Katsu Don and several vegan options

The menu includes several vegan options: breakfast, lunch, snacks, desserts. I ordered the katsu don with ice cream and brownie for dessert. Really delicious.

Vegan Japanese Katsu Don

The portion of the Japanese Katsu Don is huge and well balanced with Salsa. Each bite is delightfully crunchy thanks to the well-breaded coating. The plant-based meat tasted shockingly close to the real deal but could be juicier. While we enjoy our rice with curry gravy, we can't help but wish for more. Maybe we should ask for extra gravy next time?

So many delicious vegan options

So many excellent vegan options from burgers, to gyoza, salads, poke, pizza, and many desserts. Many of their hot drinks (e.g tumeric ginger latte) come vegan as a default. I had the miso tofu Buddha bowl, tumeric ginger latte, and apple blondie and they were all great. Nice ambiance and centrally located.

Pros: Many vegan options, Tasty, Centrally located & nice ambiance

Prive - Chijmes (Singapore)

There isn't much for vegans. Their saving grace is that they do a very nice salad if you seek something healthy. Not for the budget diner.

Pros: A few vegan options, Nice salad

Cons: All vegan is always better, No for the budget diner

(Pricey) tasty vegan options

I really enjoyed the meals Ive had here (the falafel salad and the vegetable curry). The portion of the salad was VERY generous (maybe it was meant to be shared), but the curry was less so. The prices are quite high. The menu is clearly labeled with vegan options.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Knowledgeable staff, Menu clearly labeled

Cons: Expensive

delightful, scenic (but expensive) dinner

outdoor seating style with a nice view of the church and the restaurant was well designed. love how they expanded their vegan menu! vegan dishes and options clearly labelled too. friendly staff.

1. vegan linguine mushroom carbonara $18 (w huera “chicken” $4) = $22
it was superr garlicky (i love!), tastes more like a creamy spaghetti alle vongole than a carbonara 😅 huge portion! lotsss of mushroom and generous chunks of “chicken”. (side note not worth the $4 for chicken imo as i feel huera’s look realistic but doesn’t taste realistic. texture is alright)

2. vegan impossible meatball spaghetti $19
there were 4? or so meatballs... not much for an expensive spaghetti but it tasted splendid. i enjoyed the appetising sauce very much. morderate portion!

3. vegan maple-miso glazed tofu happy belly buddha bowl (large) $21.50
this was so good! tastes like they made their own firm sesame tofu! contains brown rice, avo, various veggies, and roasted sesame dressing. the dish was so refreshing and perhaps it’s my favourite dish out of all we ordered! hugeeee portion so i think if you order the regular one it’d be filling too.

4. 10-inch stone-baked pizzas: margherita (vegan option) $18
this one was so-so. thin crust pizza, vegan cheese, basil, tomatoes.

overall, my experience was great with good food and a good view of the church. would love to return some time again, only downside is the expensive price.

Pros: vegan options clearly labelled, yummy, expanded vegan menu!, good ambience, friendly staff

Cons: expensive

Good food, bad service

I give this restaurant points for offering quite a few vegan options like the beyond burger and the impossible burger. Since I've already tried those before we ordered the Impossible Meatball spaghetti and the Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Muschrooms. They were both delicious. They also have several vegan salads and one vegan Thai curry plate. None of their pizzas are vegan unfortunately. I would give this place a 4 star but the service was not so great, hence the 3 stars. But mediocre service seems to be common in Singapore.

Pros: Vegan options, Food was tasty, Nice restaurant

Cons: Bad service, Restaurant also serves meat and dairy

Not what I was expecting

It's a pretty restaurant in a pretty location and gets points just for that. Buuut, if I'm basing this just on food, there's really not that many veggie options on the menu and it's pricey for what you get. I'm glad I finally tried it, but I doubt I'll make a return trip.

The battle ground

Prive isn't the best restaurant in the world. It's pretty expensive and the portions are small. That said, it's the only place in Singapore to get both an impossible burger and a beyond burger.

Me and some fiends went. Two had meaty things. But my ladyfriend and I got one beyond and one impossible. They were both ok. I've come to the conclusion that impossible is more granular and beyond is a bit more fibrous. Both are generally ok.

The burgers themselves were rather small for the $21 price tag. The buns were dry too. I probably won't go back but it was fun to order the battle of the burgers.

Pros: Beyond and Impossible, Good location

Cons: Really expensive, Meh food, Meat

Peace ...

A Weekday Brunch @ Prive CHIMJES!

Happy that Prive is vegetarian friendly. Gonna be a mushroom lover today, ordering Forest Mushroom Soup (S$10++) and a 10-inch stoned baked pizza - Truffles Field Mushroom Madness (S$19++). Plus a smoothies with a beautiful name - Mango Tango (S$9++).

Love the Mushroom Soup and Mango Tango very much!

Pros: Nice Place , Recommended for Vegetarian Tourists
