Bakery
Little vegan pastry shop and store situated not far from the Green Lake Park. Sells fresh pastries made in the back-store and other shelf-stable food such as instant noodles and mock meats. Everything is 无蛋无奶 which means egg-free and dairy-free. No English spoken. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-8:30pm.

One of the pastries I had was a little bit too dry but tasty overall :D

Our first visit we just picked a selection of pastries & buns, plus a few small packets of biscuits, the price was 5.8 rmb! We had a croissant type thing which was soft a fluffy, a red bean Danish type swirl, a couple of other buns with coconut sugar on top, everything was delicious, not overly sweet or processed, just perfect with a coffee for breakfast. We went back last night around 5.30 & there wasn't much fresh bread left, so we took the last 5 buns & 2 red bean swirls, about 4 packs of biscuits which all cost 10rmb. This place is so cheap & the fresh breads are amazing, we didn't try any of the many other cookie type products available.

We bought some sweet bread, croissants, cracker and sweets here. Everything was super nice and the stuff was very friendly. We think about going a second time for buying some stuff for our travel to Vietnam.

We tried some cookies (which have been very tasty) and the croissants. Don't expect the latter ones to taste much like their french pendant (although they're still nice).😉

Finally, vegan pastries! - Edit
Probably one of the rare places in China where it is possible to find dairy-free and egg-less pastries. They are as delicious as they look and even though the manager does not speak a word of English, he is incredibly sweet and helpful. A must if you're in Kunming!
