Tasty and cheap

Simple buffet food, but not bad at all. Good food and insanely cheap. Very busy. Soundtrack of Buddhist chanting.

Almost too good to be true.

The buffet consisted of around fifteen options, plus a few kinds of rice, and a couple of smaller meal-type dishes. Plenty of options with regards to vegetable dishes, a few tofu variations, as well as dumplings and soups. The space itself is a little on the smaller side, and people were sharing tables when I was there, but for only 16元, this was excellent value for money. All-you-can-eat at a bargain price, with great quality food. A little tricky to find (pictures posted helped), but well worth finding if you’re nearby. Highly recommended.

Pros: Great price and variety, Good food, Easy in and easy out, hassle-free

Cons: Sharing tables if busy.

My favorite in China

By far the best vegan place I've eaten at in China so far and the price can't be beat - $2 for a buffet with a huge selection of different foods, including vegan deserts, rice noodles, dumplings, cooked veggies, and more.

I was worried that every vegan place in China would rely too heavily on oily meat substitutes, but this place is certainly the exception. It's a bit difficult to find, but a prior reviewer posted a great explanation of where to go and using that it was pretty easy.

Ok

We had dinner at this place. We found it after struggling a bit, but we found a sign from the restaurant inside the building.
The food was nothing special, a bit oily, most of the dishes tasted ok, but nothing more. They had rice with vegetables which I really like and the eggplant was good. Because it is really cheap 4 stars, but for the food 3.

Pros: Cheap, All vegan

Cons: Taste ok

Cheap and tasty vegan buffet

Fyi the evening opening hour is from 17:00 to 19:30.

You can’t see the Kunming corridor on Maps.me, but it is next to Golden Eagle mall. I added Leshanzhai on maps.me. I don’t know how long it will take to be added to the map.

HOW TO FIND (look up the picture)
If you enter the corridor from purple X: You will see white sign where reads ’Leshanzhai’ just after the entrance stairs. After this don’t take stairs. Turn first right, walk till you have to turn to the left. Walk till you see Leshanzhai on your right.
If you enter the corridor from green X: Find stairs up (front of some tea place), take turn to the right and look to the left till you see the Leshanzhai.

The food isn’t as greasy as most buffets I have eaten China. I would say this is healthiest food what I’ve got in China. Don’t expect steaming hot food because they don’t want the food get overcooked. I definitely recommend go here! And nice chanting music!

The price is ¥15. There is restroom nearby - on same side of the passageway.

Great and cheep

Alot of options to choose from, an all you can eat buffet for a very funny price of 15 Yuan . The best way to find it is go to a place cold sharetea and find the stair case near it and go up to the second floor

Pros: Lots of options all vegan and tasty.

Cons: Hard to find .

Delicious food, cheap and lovely staff

The food is really good, all you can eat. As the previous comment, do not waste food. They have something like kombucha for drink, delicious! Just go to this place, enjoy and feel the love.

Pros: All vegan

Cons: A little bit hidden, but you can ask the people, around

Cutest place for a hungry herbivore

The lady at the front desk when you pay was the loveliest person. She was so happy and smiley, and the second time I went there seemed to be some event on so everything was FREE 😱 regardless, the stuff is a steal at 15 rmb for all you can eat. There's a reasonable selection of dishes, some oilier than others. Be careful you don't eat too much. Also what's great is there's a no-wastage policy so you have to pay for anything you don't eat. Some people tried to flout this but the nice lady started laying into them (and rightfully too). Another moron yelled at her for not being allowed to take an extra bowl and she told him to go elsewhere. What an inspiration 💚 clearly a lady very passionate about the ethics of her business! A must-go in Kunming.

Pros: Nice lady, Tons of great food, No wastage

Cons: Difficult to find?
