Amazing pizza and great staff! - Edit
Visited Sizzle Pie and got a slice of the Void and a slice of the daily special, e-girl (I think it was). Both were so good! The crust is thin and crispy but not too crispy, the cheese is melted perfectly, and the seasonings and toppings were great! I also got a little cup of their cashew basil sauce to try on the side and it was delicious! It wasn’t too greasy like some pizzas can be. The staff was also so friendly and helpful! So glad I tried this place.

Delicious - Edit
We got the Grazing Arizona and it was delicious. The Thrilling bacon is ridiculous - super smokey and next level. All around topping were really solid and fully loaded. Crust was nice and chewy, and of course got some vegan ranch. The cinnamon knots were also delish, like little mini cinnamon rolls. Awesome the icing is default vegan. Yeah it's a little pricey like some others mentioned, but was not disappointed and worth a little splurge as a special dinner.

Best vegan pizza - Edit
They had a designated vegan section to their pizza menu. They offer 12" gluten free crust. I had the buffalo 666 vegan pizza that was so creamy and savory. Best vegan pizza in Reno!

Decent Pizza & Big portion size - Edit
I have been a fan of sizzle pie for years as someone who often visited their Portland and Seattle (now closed) locations when I lived there. So i was very happy to find out they had a location in Reno! It is Good when you're in the area and are feeding a bunch of people all with different tastes as they have the pizza by the slice style service. I do think they are a bit overpriced but honestly what isn't these days.

It's okay. Torn between 2-3 stars... - Edit
The toppings and sauce are pretty thinly spread and there's just so much crust! Like was there even really any cheese? Hard to tell. I do like crust. But I felt like there was barely any "pizza." It was tasty, but nothing mind-blowing. If I was craving a vegan pizza I might come and get the small size buffalo vegan one. But it's pretty dang pricey for the amount you get on the pizza.

Some of the best pizza out there! - Edit
We are from Oregon (where this company originated) but I haven’t eaten Sizzle Pie since going Vegan. So I had to get it here while on vacay. I ordered the Buffalo 666 and then a large side of garlic rolls with the ranch and red sauce. It was exactly how I expected it to be, freaking delicious!

Vegan options, Knots, Sauces - Edit
Garlic Knots & Vegan Ranch were amazing. Had the Map to Hell with roasted garlic, green peppers and tomatoes = delish. The basil cashew sauce was very very good as well and the spicy soy curls were just spicy enough. I am going to be so stinky at the gym tomorrow but totally worth it. And they have a signature Steve Caballero pie, which is awesome. If you don’t know who he is, look him up. Amazing skater and such a nice person. Definitely on my go to list.

Has really great options and vegan pizza flavors, I was really impressed. Decent sized pizza slices and bigger pies than other places. A little pricey but their vegan options are kinda worth it, they even have vegan ranch and other vegan dips that are out of this world

Fantastic pizza spot - Edit
I've been here twice, having a slice of vegan pizza once. I'm glad that they always have a vegan option for individual slices! Their garlic knots and sauces are also vegan (I can't wait to try those). Plenty of outdoor seating, very inclusive environment, cheap beer/soda. I'll be back, for sure!

Pizza Roulette - Edit
This is my go to late night vegan eats. You can buy a vegan pizza by the slice, so its cheaper than other vegan pizza stops and they have nutritional yeast on the tables! I've gotten sick eating the gluten free crust from here and a few times have gotten a stale tasting pizza slice. Other times the food is fresh and fantastic (hence my title). I also like that the vegan slices always get switched up and that theres a combo deal for a side salad.

It's good! - Edit
The pizza itself is not bad and the variety of vegan options is amazing. I like to bring friends here that are skeptical of vegan food to ease them into it, because there is a good variety of mock meats and the vegan cheese is pretty good. But for the price, the hassle of parking, and spotty service it definitely is not my go-to pizza place

Delicious Vegan Pizza - Edit
I first tried Sizzle Pie on a trip to Portland, and it was AMAZING. Their vegan pies are honestly some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Extremely flavorful, fun ideas, unique combinations- they use violife cheese too, which is a MAJOR plus. And the soycurls they offer are now one of my favorite things to get on a pizza. My portland experience made me SO excited that one was opening up in Reno, but unfortunately, my expectations fell shorter than I thought they would. The pizza is still amazing, don’t get me wrong. I’ve never had any problem with their pick up experience, or the pizzas I’ve ordered through pick up. Always quick, order is correct, and the food is delicious. But if you’re looking to dine in, you may not get the experience you’d like. It’s usually pretty busy, but even when it’s not, customer service falls short. My last visit to Sizzle Pie to dine in was terrible, to say the least. The staff was rude, and seemed aloof. Lost track of our order on three separate occasions, and we waited for our full order for almost 3 hours on a night where there were only about 5 customers, majority of which were seated at the bar just getting drinks. After pitching a slight fit when we waited for 75+ minutes for a side of garlic knots, on top of waiting over an hour for a large pizza, they offered to refund us. Instead, the refund never came & we were given coupons for our next visit. The bartender was incredibly rude & tried to refuse service to my girlfriend on account of her “not looking 21” even though she’s almost 22. He looked over her ID about 10 times before apologizing for his misunderstanding. If you want to try Sizzle Pie, my best recommendation is to just order pick up, or have it delivered if you live in the Reno area. The wait time, and customer service isn’t worth dining in the restaurant. They really make amazing pizzas here, and their vegan options are immense, so it truly makes me sad to write this review. I’ll probably still order from them occasionally online because I’ve never had a better vegan pizza in Reno, but I’ll most likely never step foot in the restaurant again to dine in, unless they get some new staff that don’t have their heads in the clouds 24/7. Great pizza, but not so great customer service. Like I said, save yourself the pain of dining in by just ordering online. For some reason they’re better about delivery & pick up than they are about customers actually dining in the restaurant itself.

should be 5 stars - Edit
I understand that because this isn't a fully vegan or vegetarian restaurant I can't actually give it five stars but man does it deserve it! I was only expecting one or maybe two slices to get to go but they had three and all were absolutely amazing. they had the void, steve caballero & angel of doom available- incredible. the void is just plain cheese w red sauce but that is my ultimate favorite! steve had fake meats, peppers, onions and dollops of tofu cheese... woah. and the angel was the best i think, with pineapple, jalapeños, almonds & cilantro w cheese and red sauce... what the heck!! even my omni brother got a slice of that one and was super impressed. they ALSO have garlic knots that are automatically vegan AND 5 different dipping sauces... yes please. i'm excited to come back to the West coast literally just to try more of this pizza

Pizza by the slice. Three vegan pizza options from vegan cheese to veggie. Kids loved the vegan cheese. They even tried the veggie, which I thought was amazing, and liked it. We also got the garlic knots, which they liked so much we had to order more. Would definitely give five stars if the app allowed it.

The best vegan cheese - Edit
In my 8 years of being vegan, I gotta say this was one of (if not the best) pizza experiences I’ve had. We ordered a large pizza with half Buffalo 666 and half Void, and an order of garlic knots. All of the food was amazing! It is so nice to have a place that the knots and sauces are already vegan and such a great selection of pizzas. You can go in and get just a slice too which is great for simple lunches! It was $34 for the large pizza and knots which considering it lasted for two meals was totally worth it!

The vegan pizzas are fantastic and they even sell them by the slice. The only downside is it's pricey. Even Whole Foods sells cheaper freshly baked vegan pizza. LOL
