Good place for vegans

We stayed in The Ellison and had dinner and breakfast. We had a vegan burger and a vegan korma. Although it was a little bit expensive we enjoyed the food. While we were waiting they served a vegan bread with olive oil to dip. The taste of the main course was good and the portions are big. For breakfast I had a vegan breakfast, which was very tastefull.

Had dinner and breakfast here

Veggie breakfast can be made vegan by removing eggs, you still get plenty for the price. For dinner there is ramen or a curry & cauliflower burger which were both great!

Really impressive

It's great to see a hotel offering a vegan option for each course and the staff were very aware of what veganism is and even went through the wines until they found one labelled vegan. I would love to see some other options added as they do what they have very well. I was impressed with the breakfast in the morning and how they went to get me vegan sausages and dairy free spread. Really nice place to stay in with stress free eating!

Great to see vegan substitutes

Amazing to see vegan substitutes in a nice restaurant in Castlebar! The “feta” cheese salad is absolutely delicious. The pasta with vegan meat balls tasted good but I think needs a little work on presentation. Will definitely go again!
