Threatening and Insulting Me - Edit
Very rude waiters are there. Once I have been to restaurant alone and sat on chair. Then waiter came and told me in a rude manner "getup because you are not suppose to sit here." On second day another waiter came and threaten me why did you sit here getup and sit out side. Then we will call you later.

The food was really good but the menu was a little confusing. I wanted to try some string hoppers but was difficult to understand what it came with or if I needed to order another dish to accompany it. In the end I reiterated that I was vegan and hoped for the best. The food came and the string hoppers, although not traditional Sri Lankan, were very good and I left well fed

Over priced, left us hungry - Edit
We had dinner there and we had to queue to get a table. Service was good, but food was very very expensive. Everything tasted good, but nothing special and portions left us hungry. Interior is not fancy at all. I don't understand why it's full and famous. I would not recommend.

This is an upmarket place with posh decor and nicely presented food. Food also tastes wonderful. Portions are good sizes. Service is good. Food is still reasonably priced for such an upscale place.

It's worth the effort to get here. I had one of the best meals I'd ever eaten in Sri Lanka here.

I had a delicious big dosa filled with potato and a good selection of chutneys which I believe was cooked in vegetable oil instead of ghee (fingers crossed) but the staff were lovely and the food was rockin. They speak great English so its easy to ask what is in what.
