Vegetarian And vegan options - Edit
They have a number of vegan/vegetarian options. The staff didn't seem too knowledgeable about which ones were strictly vegan, so I guess be prepared to figure it out yourself. I got the happy Buddha bowl and it was tasty!

My husband and I dined Shanghai Mama's while we were visiting Cincinnati, and we absolutely loved it! We ordered the peppered steak, faux ribs, and spring rolls. The faux ribs were soooo good. I thought that the peppered steak was just okay, but overall we had a wonderful experience.

I can't get enough of this place. I have tried several of their vegan options and they're always so good. Their faux ribs are the BOMB. My husband loves the Szechuan Vegetable entree.

Orange faux ribs and pepper steak were really good. It was a nice surprise to try something that tasted different from a Chinese restaurant.

I really do. Most vegans I know like it, but not me. I keep going and I never like any dish I get. But I will always keep going. It's open late, cheap and near by which gets my vote.
Read moreThere are a nice variety of dishes to get, too. Alas, I have only kind of liked the green beans.
The atmosphere is nice and it's a city staple for us locals. I think everyone should try for themselves though.
Pros: late night, downtown, cheap, big portions

Three words: Orange Faux Ribs - Edit
Try the faux ribs!!! So amazing! I like to add tofu too. Shanghai Mamas is also open till 3am on Friday and Saturday too. The interior is very cute and I love the music! Great place.
