Delicious

I ordered the primavera salad (spring mix, cucumber, three kinds of fresh peas, mint, and red wine vinaigrette); grilled asparagus (without cheese, comes with pine nuts); and pasta pomodoro (red sauce, spinach, and bread crumbs).

All of it was very delicious and they did offer another kind of pasta, not on the menu, for vegans which included an olive oil and herb sauce. Other salads were available vegan and some other sides (broccolini and patate). Our server was super nice, but getting a reservation here is a pain - book four months in advance- and the hostess staff is quite unfriendly. Immediately upon arrival they told us when we’d have to be out by, which was rude. So, overall a good experience but be mindful they’ll kick you out after 2 hours if you plan to go with a group of friends.

Pros: Lots of options , Made from scratch/fresh , Good service

Cons: Rude hostess , Reservations are hard to get

Sotto

Our first night in the city and we picked the perfect place. I am the only vegetarian in the group so this really worked out for us. The staff is super nice, the ambiance is great and is was completely packed on a Tuesday night.

They have an entirely separate vegetarian menu. It has a few options from the main menu that have been altered to accommodate vegetarians. I didn’t see many options for vegans.

All of the food was amazing. And they had oat milk for the cappuccino.

Pros: Separate vegetarian menu, Great staff, Great food

Cons: No vegan options

Amazing

Wish I could give sotto five stars. They have such friendly staff and incredible food. Sotto doesn’t make you feel like you’re getting a worse experience when dining vegan. Most Italian spots do not offer specific pastas besides the most basic red sauce. My favorite date night spot and a great place to go with omni friends.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff , Great cocktails

Cons: No vegan deserts
