Fully vegan! - Edit
This little place is really nice to have a fully vegan experience. Best to come here with more people so you can share the food. We especially liked the tomato “egg” dish and the vegetable pancakes. Owner was super friendly and gave us a small dessert for free. English menu available.

Superb vegan Taiwanese food - Edit
Some of the best vegan food I have had in Taichung. Even the more “standard” dishes we ordered were of excellent quality, and there were creative vegan versions of popular dishes like scrambled egg with tomato, and egg pancakes. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere (simple decor, casual restaurant) mean I’ll definitely be returning for more!

Wow 🤩 - Edit
I can’t believe it took me so long to get around to trying this place. Ideally, go with a group of at least three people to try out more of their dishes: most of their menu is more conducive to a family-style experience. The menu is all in Chinese, so it helps to go with someone who can translate it. We had a bit of a hard time choosing what we wanted because everything sounded good. We decided on the loofah savory pancake (絲瓜煎餅), three-cup lion’s mane mushroom fried rice (三猴炒飯), tomato and scrambled “egg” (番茄炒旦), and spicy tofu and vegetable soup (五更常旺). We also ordered a bowl of grains and rice (雜糧飯), but we probably didn’t need to. The staff also gave us a free tomato and tofu soup and brown sugar tofu pudding for dessert. We were so satisfied with our lunch! The decor is also quite comfortable and stylish. I want to return as soon as I can to try some other dishes!

The food was really good! Unfortunately, the menu was only available in Chinese, however one employee spoke English and she made some recommendations. Very friendly staff!

Delicious - Edit
Small, Taiwanese restaurant run by a family. They have a nice menu (no English). My husband and I ordered several dishes and weren’t disappointed. I personally loved their “Zhao Pai Tofu” and “Zhao Pai Mian”. This means the shop’s signature tofu and noodle dishes. Would definitely recommend and will return the next time I’m in town.
