Sketchy vegan at best - Edit
For those unfamiliar, this is bar. The menu online is no longer accurate- there are only 2 vegan options (the cheese steak sandwich sub vegan and the impossible smash), no vegan wings available anymore. It’s never a good sign when you ask if something on the menu is vegan, the waitress leaves to ask, and then comes back and says “the cook says he doesn’t know”. So personally, this will be a first and last for us, since we question if the food we were served was actually vegan. If though, you’re seeking a bar atmosphere with your non-vegan friends, this might be an okay choice for you. Definitely reminiscent of the days of “I’m just grateful there’s a vegan option”.

vegan smash burger! - Edit
Pure Northwest recently moved into the spot previously occupied by Red Lion BBQ on the east side of downtown, near the university district. They've renovated the interior. I ordered their Impossible smash burger, which is topped with vegan cheese and aioli, and comes with a choice of a side. It was more affordable than other local restaurants with a comparable menu and atmosphere. They also have a soyrizo burrito on their Sunday brunch menu that I want to come back to try!
