Market with a lot of vegan options.

Grocery shop here regularly, very friendly staff, plenty of vegan grocery items available. A couple vegan wraps and sandwiches premade, salad bar daily, soups are sometimes vegan.

Affordable vegan treats!

They have lots of unique vegan snacks that you find in higher end grocery stores like Whole Foods, but their bakery has so many house made vegan options that are my guilty pleasures that I go to whenever I want some cake. The sweets are also well priced and not crazy expensive! The rest of the store can be a bit more expensive.

Personal fave vegan sweets:
Chocolate cake (and vanilla cake, I like their chocolate best)
Croissant!
Mult flavors cupcakes
Cookies
Apricot jam thumbprint cookies
Donuts are so good

Pros: Affordable vegan bakery section, Other snacks in store, Hot food always has an option too

Cons: Can be a bit expensive

Quick pit stop

I was in town to run the Bloomsday race and saw this place near the Convention Center where race packet pick up was. I stopped in and was pleased to see they had some vegan options including salads and other items. I picked out a vegan banh mi and a kombucha and was delighted with both. It’s worth a stop if you’re looking for something quick.

Vegan supplies

There was a really good selection of groceries for a small market but I was hoping for some prepared foods that I could take out. The only vegan prepared food option when I was there was a hummus wrap.

Pros: Vegan groceries

Cons: Minimal vegan prepared foods

Excellent!

Features a small but mighty salad bar that includes things like marinated tofu, kalamata olives, crispy onions, and multiple vegan salad dressings, including a house made vegan ranch. Ready to eat sandwiches and a build your own burrito bar. Vegan treats and goodies from the bakery. A true gem of Spokane!

Spokane's food co-op

Main Market is a member-owned cooperative, but everyone is welcome to shop there. They stock produce from local growers when it's in season. They also have vegan baked goods, grab-and-go foods, and items typically found in health/natural food stores.

Good treats

Good location to downtown hotels. Typical health food items. Decent selection of bakery treats. Disappointing vegan cheese selection (not much variety).

Vegan mochi! (And many other things)

I don't know if they have it all the time, but there were 2 delicious flavors of vegan mochi ice cream! We were also impressed with the refrigerated and frozen vegan options (more than our co-op back home), and they have a delicious vegan vindaloo bowl and the hot counter.

Great place for essentials and lunch/dinner

A great place that stocks a wide variety of wholefood and organic produce and packaged goods. Also has a cold and hot salad bar where you can made your own dish (eg steamed rice tofu beans salad sauce). They also had a deli section and skme desserts. Lovely staff and open and airy.

Good options for a little place

On a recent visit to the store, we were happy to find that they had vegan chocolate chip cookies in the bakery section, a vegan veggie dish in the hot bar, and plenty of bulk and grocery options.

Pros: vegan cookies, bulk section, friendly

great selection

This small market downtown has a surprisingly large variety with many unique, hard to find items. A little pricey

Nothing to get excited about

I have travelled pretty extensively throughout the US, and I'll be as blunt as possible here. As far as a vegan friendly coop goes, this was one of the least exciting places I've been anywhere. Nothing out of the ordinary; pretty sparse selection. I found more useful things at the Safeway. I would not go back. This is very meat heavy.

Main Market Co-op Spokane, WA

I recently discovered a fantastic Co-op in downtown Spokane, WA. There is an organic salad bar with soup and also an amazing deli that has a variety of vegetarian & vegan options which were delicious. Also, I enjoyed the desserts made from scratch! It was a nice sunny day so I enjoyed my lunch in the outdoor seating area. Main Market is in downtown Spokane on Main Avenue not far from I-90 highway so very easy to find. Every employee that I spoke with was very helpful & friendly. This is a family friendly place. I will definitely be a regular customer!

Pros: Very friendly staff!, Delicious vegetarian & vegan selections, Nice vibe!
