Mediocre fastfood and bad parking - Edit
First off, there's exactly ONE parking spot here. It's fastfood, so don't expect amazing cuisine. The burger buns are sub-par and the cold pressed juice flavors are in flavors that I find unpleasant, and I've tried most of them. The shakes and iconic fries are pretty good.

“Chicken” & Desserts - Edit
My somewhat controversial take is that I am not a big fan of Plant Power. I enjoy the breakfast menu, but only lunch is served at the SDSU location. Today I decided to try the cookie dough Snow Day, which is supposed to be a vegan Blizzard (like Dairy Queen). It was not my favorite. The ice cream was super sweet and almost tasted like cake batter rather than vanilla. The cookie dough was the redeeming quality, but there was so little of it; it was basically a huge cup of soft serve. I think this may have been due to low stock, but I disliked the ice cream enough not to try it again. Since the wait was pretty long, I was given a cookie, and it was very good. From other times eating at Plant Power, I would recommend the “chicken” products and desserts — those have always been fantastic. Normally, I would give three stars, but since it is a solid vegan choice on campus, I am sticking with four.

They know what they're doing! - Edit
This is true guilty pleasure fast food over here! The have amazing veganized authentic american fast food, besides burgers even wings, nuggets and vegan bacon. I appreciate that this place makes it possible to experience this part of american culture. I had the iconic burger, really juicy and the cheese and bacon are so real I got scared! The fries were crispy, just how I like them. And let me tell you about their milkshakes! Oh my! They're so good but honestly so filling! I had one at 4pm and couldn't eat anything until the next day hahaha. Of course this food is not healthy at all, it's fast food. But it could be a bit cheaper for being unhealthy. :)

Decent - Edit
This place is good for what it is. You basically get exactly what you expect to get when you order, and that’s ok. My main complaint is it’s overpriced for what you’re getting. You’re basically paying restaurant quality prices for fast food.

Exceeded expectations - Edit
I went in not expecting much because I never really liked fast food in the first place. But I got the power greens salad with crispy chicken and Italian dressing and it was so good! Everything was so fresh and I really enjoyed my meal.

Fast food at it’s best - Edit
Not gourmet food but that’s not what you came for is it? The nuggets are a great McDonald’s dupe and the iconic fries are a perfect in n out animal style dupe. Comparable prices to most fast food prices these days. Overall really yummy. This location is right on SDSU campus so it’s perfect if you’re a student and kind of a hassle if you’re not.

I reaallly am so happy I finally tried this place! It is super good, you can’t really tell the burger is not meat. The chicken nuggets were also nice and crispy with similar texture to actual chicken. Strawberry shake tastes fresh and natural.

Best fast food and vegan burger on the planet - Edit
This was my first time at this plant power fast food. Really nice location at SDSU. Staff was friendly. I’m impressed with how they extended their menu and the items were delicious. I tried the buffalo boneless chicken strips for the first time and they were absolutely amazing. I also had the New York style cheesecake as dessert, which was very solid as well. However, they do NOT sell the Bog Zac at this location, which was a let down for me since that’s my go to here. However, the young man encouraged me to order the Iconic burger with an extra patty. He went out of his way to try and create the Big Zac in the iconic burger. It was very good. Overall, very pleasant experience.

Great place to get a fast food burger, fries, and shake vegan style. The Iconic fries were an identical sub for In and Out’s Animal fries but without the animal suffering. Delicious. The bacon cheeseburger was on POINT! So good.

Vegan In-N-Out:) - Edit
Perfect for cravings from your old life. Specifically cravings for In-N-Out, with more options than In-N-Out. We brought our non veg mom and she was impressed. She’s attempting to switch to plant based tomorrow, so we thought it would be fun for her to have some vegan fast food for the first time ever! She loved the seasonal pumpkin pie shake. I loved the iconic fries! Mmm. We’ll be back. I hope they open in our county soon!

Not a fast food vegan BUT omg this place!! - Edit
So I rarely eat vegan junk or fast food, but this place it just incredible! The “bacon egg and cheese sandwich” is amazing and a must experience for all vegans. I’ve tried a sip of the chocolate milkshake that was so creamy and to die for. I also have tried a bite of the chicken and waffle and chicken sandwich, and chicken tenders for lunch. At the end of the day, you gotta try breakfast here! Superb!

Disappointed With the Smaller Menu - Edit
I enjoy the food, but I am very disappointed to see that the menu is much smaller than the other Plant Power restaurants. I hope to see them expand the menu soon. In addition the food was much too salty for my taste.

Convenience at a Cost - Edit
The SDSU area is hungry for more vegan options, so like everyone near by I was hella pumped to hear Plant Power was coming to campus. The space is notable smaller then other locations resulting in a truncated menu that unfortunately drops my favorite burger: The Rambler. Gone too are the grilled mushrooms, guacamole, and the entire breakfast menu leaving behind a bunch of plain burgers with one or two ingredients to differentiate them from each other. Again, from a space planning perspective, I understand—but that doesn't quench my hunger. On top of that, all prices here are about $1 more then all other PPFF locations.

Yummy Junk Food - Edit
Had the bacon cheeseburger! Omg, the bacon tasted like bacon! We all shared loaded fries. The cotton candy shake was the flavor of the month and was really good. Did have some healthy options, raw tacos, grilled chicken and salads. So many things looked delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Very small inside area for seating, but large outside deck.
