Tacos and good service

We want for taco Tuesday they had a small variety of vegan food. However they had a good section of vegan friendly wines and beers. Was also reasonably priced

Pros: Wine list, Cocktails, Tacos

Cons: Small vegan menu , Not much vegan desserts

Only a few vegan options

As of 2022, they no longer have a separate vegan/vegetarian menu, just a couple of entrees (burger and a curry) and one vegan dessert option (bread pudding).

Cons: Limited vegan menu

Penny Blue

The vegan options were a little limited but they were really tasty and they also have vegan drinks marked on the menu. Good cocktails & atmosphere. Tables well set apart for social distancing.

Pros: Nice restaurant , Ambience

OK

It was a busy Saturday afternoon when we came, so hard to judge the atmosphere of the place properly. Staff were helpful and efficient. You can see the chefs at work. The banana blossom phish was good. The avo tacos were a small portion so a bit pricey for £8. They were basically small tacos with couscous on top, small sweet potato fries laid across the top and then an avo sauce on the very top - all in all messy to eat.... you had to eat the fries first as they were laid across. The dry couscous then fell off everywhere as you tried to eat the wafer thin tacos. So a bit of style over substance!

Pros: Close to centre

Cons: Noisy bar when busy as wood effect floors, Messy taco meal a bit pricey
