Disgusting, don’t go!

It looked great, and it sounded great by the reviews I read on here but they were all lies! I counted 12 vegan options, not 24 (which I saw in someone else’s review) and that includes the fruit bar and the salad bar. The buffet suggests they serve food from all around the world… From the Japanese section, there was two sushi and one seaweed option. From the south Asian food area, there was a mushroom curry, (a tofu curry that was not vegan, which I found pointless.) A chickpea, curry, and naan bread. from the east Asian food section, there was a mushrooms dish and broccoli dish. overall There was no rice. No noodles no bread, no dumplings no pizza no proper deserts. Apart from fruit, no freshly cooked veggies on the grill like they did with the meat. You couldn’t even have roast potatoes or the carrots or that tofu curry. I tried asking a member of staff. How do you know which dishes are vegan. To which he said he doesn’t know and carried on walking. I tired speaking to 3 other members of staff they were extremely rude and I instantly Sokol there head and hands abruptly saying no no no. The last person I tired to speak to pointed at someone else I already tried to speak to. That got me pretty pissed off. The manger had to come out. They told me the staff are scared of customers because they don’t speak English. There were only three people out of 15 members of staff I saw that could actually communicate with me. by the way, the buffet cost £23 in the evening. I know you’re not meant to say never, but I will never ever go back there again. I know you’re not meant to say never, but

Pros: There is something to eat, There is hot food

Cons: There are not many vegan options in comparison to , The food is disgusting, The staff are whatless

Awful

1. Staff don't speak a word of English, they keep fobbing you off to other members, the 'manager' is just someone that hasn't risen above the level of doorman.
2. The food labels are illegible.
3. No one can understand what the labels say.
4. All the food is days old.
5. Speaking as a non-Vegan and an ex-student, I've had fresher chicken that has been in the fridge for a month after coming back to my accommodation after a month away.
6. My Vegan wife had a five minute questioning on 'do you' and 'can I' have some plain rice, and what is Vegan.
7. The chocolate fountain tastes like it has been running round and round for yonks. All gritty and oily, also the highest dairy percentage chocolate available.
8. We have travelled all the way from the South-West through the day, and to be greeted in such an off-hand manner for a salesman as team leader all I cam say is RUN

Disappointing

Maybe Monday is not a good day to visit. There were very few vegan options available. No vegan noodles whatsoever. The only tofu dish was not vegan. My dinner consisted of onion rings, vegetable spring rolls, broccoli with garlic, Chickpea curry and potato curry. There was no vegan rice. Dessert options were non existent. Well, you could choose from orange segments, grapes, pears in syrup and apple in red wine. It feels mean compared to the wonderful desserts on display. Definitely did not get my moneys worth.

Pros: Dishes are clearly labelled

Cons: Few vegan options, Only fruit for dessert , Expensive

Around the world in 9 vegan courses

I’ve been here quite a few times but never as a vegan before. A party of 9 with a broad spectrum of eating habits would always do well at an international buffet - and we did. I ate a portion of every vegan item on the menu and having completed 9 courses, you could have rolled me out. It was really good and everyone loved it.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Clearly marked, Good value if you’re hungry
