Serendipity - Edit
This was a delightful find. The menu had every dish labeled with nationality and if it was vegan or had options for being vegan. Great presentation. Waitress (Teresa?) gave amazing service. Great pricing. Just a win overall.

Very tasty food and a well labeled menu - Edit
There are a lot of vegan options and the staff are always willing to make suggestions on substitutes. Although, the menu is very well labeled and easy to find vegan and vegetarian options. The food is not perfect but great if you're willing to explore options.

So Much Potential - Edit
I ordered the "vegetable egg rolls" (I would call them spring rolls) and a "Thai basil" tofu and vegetable entree. Everything looked delicious. The spring rolls were great but dripped a little too much oil. My entree would have been very nice, but the tofu and vegetables were covered with too much sauce.
Read moreI really disliked the beer-and-jukebox look and feel of the dining area. It took away from the Asian dining experience.
My friend ordered tofu summer rolls. We got shrimp summer rolls. He took a bite or two before figuring it out. The waiter brought us the correct item.

Pros: very organized menu, clearly noted vegan options, many vegan items because tofu is a protein choice, very good lightly crispy fried tofu
Cons: country music and bar confused the Asian concept, spring rolls too oily/entree drowning in sauce, given shrimp rolls when we ordered tofu rolls 😞

Lots of Vegan Options 😋 - Edit
We went to Oryza to celebrate my sister's birthday. The staff was nice and helpful. The food was delicious.
Read moreOne of my favorite things was the menu was super helpful with the dietary key with labels for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. The menu also told you where each dish came from (like China for mapo tofu).
Highly recommend eating there if you are in the area.
Pros: Vegan labels on the menu, Huge variety, Delicious food

Excellent place to eat. - Edit
I have not had Mongolian beef in years, so Mongolian tofu really hit the spot. Nice atmosphere and plenty of seating.

A family favorite! - Edit
Love this place! The food is so good. Fried rice, chow mein, general tso's tofu, orange tofu, and stuffed eggplant are all delicious. Vegan options and options that can be made vegan are clearly marked. I do wish they would invest in textured chopsticks, as the ones they have are too slick so I have to use a fork.
Read moreI only gave it 3 stars because they have some fish and a turtle for ambiance but their aquariums are really small and sparse. Turtles are social creatures but this one is all alone with nothing to do. The whole time we were there the poor guy was trying desperately to get to a plant that was just on the other side of the glass. :(
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Clearly marked menus, Delicious
Cons: Don't treat their pets very well, Chopsticks are too slick

Okay, not great. But you've got to love a really clearly marked menu! - Edit
The best part about Oryza is the way they mark-up their menu. It's very clear what is vegan and/or can be prepared that way. It makes for easy ordering, and I really appreciate that.
Read moreThe food is just okay. A lot of the dishes I've tried were very fried tofu heavy while being vegetable light. I'd rather have more vegetables in my order to even things out. I ordered the ramen, and then had to ask for hot sauce & pour in a boatload of soy sauce because it was so bland.
I think this restaurant suffers from having too varied of a menu. They're trying to cover a wide variety of Asian cuisines instead of sticking to areas where they really succeed. I haven't found a dish that I love there, but almost everything has been decent.
Pros: Clearly marked vegan menu
Cons: The flavors aren't particularly nuanced, Really oily

Super vegan friendly menu with labels - Edit
Got spring rolls with tofu and they were super fresh. Also got the red curry thinking it would be less fried but the tofu was very fried. Would ask for fresh tofu next time but the red sauce was good.

Yum - Edit
The red curry was pretty good but not mind blowing. The tofu dry pot was awesome as was the mushroom and lotus root dish. Also tried the sake which was very sweet but yummy

Great menu - Edit
The menu is clear about all the vegan options and they are a lot of options, not like some restaurant where there are just a couple of vegan options. The food is amazing.

AMAZING!!! Best pan Asian food in the area - Edit
OMG, where to start?? I’m a vegan and have been a Happy Cow app user for many years, but I’ve never created a user name and password b/c I’ve never reviewed anything (here, or anywhere else...including Amazon). But this place is sooooo good, and I want to support them in any way that I can, so here I am, writing a review. :)
Read moreFirst of all, they totally get veganism, and their menu is *really* well marked—they have icons for everything that is already vegan and vegetarian, but also icons for anything that can be prepared vegan or vegetarian. Their menu is *extensive* and includes Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, and a few Korean and Malaysian dishes as well. I’ve never had so many choices at a single restaurant, and all of the food that we’ve had (my partner and I have been twice) has been delicious. They also do kid/half portions, too, if you ask.
The decor is simple and the lighting is fairly bright, so the ambiance isn’t exactly date night, but the food is amazing and fast and we had two very attentive, kind, and knowledgeable servers.
Also, they deliver. Eat at Oryza. You won’t regret it.
PS The website won’t let me give five stars, so I’m using four, but I really want to give this place five stars!!! (Can someone help me fix this?!)
