A must try in Tottori! - Edit
It took me a bit to get here, but taking the train it wasn't too bad. But trust me it is worth it!
Read moreI was presented with both an English and a Japanese menu detailing each dish and what makes it special. While the meals were limited to ramen, udon, burger, sandwiches and a dumpling the choices all seemed very delicious! When I went however the desert and drinks part in both menus was exclusively in Japanese.
I went with the Kimchi Ramen and the ice cream and additionally ordered a sandwich and the dumpling for take out.
While the dishes are all a bit pricey, they were worth the cost as they were all very delicious!
The owner also was very accommodating and forthcoming, giving me some insight into each dish and how it is vegan, without me mentioning that I am vegan or asking for the explanation. She also gifted me a map and guide for Tottori and a few travel tips.
It was noticeable that she is doing this with passion which reflects in the food. I mostly talked with her in Japanese, but she seemed to be able to understand and talk English at least a little bit, but I also did not try to talk in English.
Pros: Very delicious, Unique dishes, Very friendly staff
Cons: A little bit far from downtown

Worth the trip - Edit
We had a mission to get there from the dunes in the freezing rain, but it was well worth it. A very lovely lady and her son served us. We ordered 2 different burgers and the skewers. Soooo good. As they do some items takeaway, we ordered sandwiches to have for lunch the next day. There is a small section selling goods as well. A definite must if you are in the area.

All vegan! Very tasty but also very expensive. - Edit
After nearly starving in Tottori we headed over to this restaurant. It was two stations away from Tottori Terminal. I had the tartar burger which was just amazing. Although it was the smallest burger that I‘ve ever seen and is prized with 1123¥ it was like heaven after nearly one week with 7-Eleven and Lawson food. The small supermarket offers dried soy meat, ramen- and noodle cups, several curry powders, coffee and chips. The staff (owner) is extremely friendly and you can get some of the dishes for take out (what we did).

A lot of fun - Edit
I was greeted very friendly and enthusiastically. Ordered the sesame ramen, which was delicious! I had a long and fun conversation with the owner about her products and my travels, after which she offered me a gift to take home. Super super friendly staff, despite the language barrier. Definetly a recommendation if you are staying in Tottori, even if it's a train stop away from the center!

Rare in Tottori but absolutely delicious! - Edit
It is a franchise restaurant with a little retail section selling really delicious Japanese food! A real great find and within walking distance from the train station. Worker who I assume is the owner makes everything in the small kitchen with a lot of love! Everything we had was small portion (like most places in japan) so would recommend ordering more than you think. We bought some dried soy meat in the retail section later which came with a recipe and that was super delicious too. Would recommend! They also have an English menu!!!!
