Fantastic - Edit
Amazing soy chai, also I got the tofu vegetable stir fry and it was really yummy. Could’ve used a sauce/some rice. I’ve also tried the vegan banana walnut cake and it was alright, nothing to write home about. Prices are somewhat high for the amount you get, otherwise I’d give 5 stars!

Good coffee and cake - Edit
Only one vegan cake option but it was pretty good and the coffees were good with non dairy milk (think it was soy). Also got some fries

great place with many many options! - Edit
this place thrives on variety. you can choose from tibetan food to italian, other asian and international food. good quality! service can be a little chaotic when super busy but in general it’s good. there’s an outside area with nice views. their cakes are amazing too! they can make the drinks with soy milk :)

Lively vegetarian restaurant with mountain-view terrace - Edit
This is one of my regular places. A friendly Tibetan family venture, there are Tibetan options such as Tsampa and Momos on the menu, alongside the international choices. It is fully vegetarian, but I think a vegan would find plenty here to be satisfied with, especially as the staff are great, and always take special requests seriously. They do tailor your food to suit you on request. The menu has Kombucha, and several healthy smoothies, such as the ABC Juice which I have often. Another of my favourites is the beetroot salad. It is popular and can sometimes be very busy, but that's because its a nice place to spend time, and I sometimes see them combining tables for larger groups, or for families. Nicks is a good first option for people who are new to the town, because of its central location.

reliable good food! - Edit
Nicks has a varied menu which is all vegetarian or vegan. All the pizzas and pasta come with cheese on so I guess one could ask for pasta without parmesan topping. The vegetable filled and fried mumos are vegan friendly and really tasty. I also loved the tofu chips! The veg curry was a simple small curry without gravy. Banana smoothie was tasty too, made with water.

An old standby - Edit
Nick's opened in the late '90s with help from a western cook. Long-since run by local Tibetans, they're still doing a pretty good job. It's reasonably vegan-friendly, too; just make sure your server understands your dietary needs. When the weather is nice, the back terrace is lovely.

I'm not sure how authentic some of their Italian food is, but it's delicious and filling. The service is great, as well.
