Not many vegan options - Edit
I visited on 23 October 2023. I was told that there aren't many vegan options. Vegan milk was out of stock (though I was told it is usually available).

I got the veg Makthuk and it was delicious. The owner understood it needed to be “pure veg” but maybe just explain what you cant have to make sure your dish is vegan.

menu has an incredible range of options from tibetan to italian to mexican, indian, chinese, and the international fare. good quality, fair price, friendly service, nice view of the mountains. there are several vegan options. lots and lots of vegetarian options. the cakes are amazing!

Nice place that isnt too cold or windy inside, like most places in india are. There is a also a nice outsoor terrace with views. The green restaurant offers vegan options (not marked on menu) ask waiter for veganization. I have longed for a proper breakfast and ordered scramble tofu with sides of hashbrowns and toast and it was bliss.

Favorite spot in Mcleod - Edit
We probably ended up eating her more than 12 times in our time in the area. Mostly because we tried so much on the menu and everything turned out to be a perfect a safe bet. Run by amazing and beautiful Tibetan energy, you just feel welcome anytime. The tofu scramble might also be the best we ever had. And once we ventured to try the Tibetan Soups we realized it might not get any better. The soy cappuccinos come with art work in the foam and their tile sparrows who they let live and neat on the patio add the perfect touch as they stop by regularly for any leftover treats at your table. ❤️
