Amazing Vegan Food - Edit
Delicious food at a fully vegan establishment! We both got specialty burgers and they were great. The empanadas were awesome as well. While eating I commented, “there’s literally no way a non-vegan would eat this empanada and be able tell it’s vegan!”
Read moreThe bottled drinks were also really good, and many of them were made in house. We talked with one of the co owners and she was super nice and obviously vegan. Highly recommend this place!
Pros: All vegan, Friendly staff, Very realistic mock meats in certain dishes
Cons: I don’t live in Brooklyn and can’t go often 😢

Amazing tasting food without a doubt. So glad to have access to conscious food. I have NOTHING bad to say about it other than I wish ALL Indigenous/Dominican food was this conscious.

Love it! The owner is super sweet and treats you like you’re a friend as soon as you walk in. We tried el chimi vegano, patacon, “chicken” tenders with hot buffalo sauce, vegan mac n cheese and of course passion fruit juice. They’ve created a vegan version of all our favorite Dominican foods. So yummy!

I’m am not an expert on Dominican cuisine unfortunately but the patacón chimi and the warm reception from the lovely woman at the counter were worth the trip and all those to come for me.

Finally made it up (way up) town to this little gem! And worth the trip. Small place with big taste and friendly staff!
Read moreHad a sandwich made with plantain “bread”. They made thin disc of the plantains. I choose the suggested BBQ jackfruit version and it was delicious! Full but wanting more I also tried a couple Pasteles (empanadas) the suggested mac and cheese with truffles blew my mind. And the quinoa and cranberry is not to be missed!

Loved coming here today and being greeted by happy people who care about all life. Being someone who is un-jabbed it’s hard to find a place to eat that does discriminate against you. The food was delicious and service superb! I will definitely be back.

This vegan place is convenient for me, however the food is delicious!!! I've been vegan/vegetarian for 28 years and it's a pleasure to have good food in your neighborhood!
