Healthy and Nice - Edit
Came to the English Market in a wet and windy Monday afternoon. We ordered the raw wrap and the kimchi Mac and cheese with the oyster mushroom drumstick. Also got their hibiscus chocolate raw truffle. The food takes a bit of time. While there were no table anywhere, they let us stand at the kombucha tap station and even offered us samples of their beet apple ginger kombucha and pumpkin spice kombucha. Super friendly. We’ve never really hopped on the kombucha train before but theirs was very good! We even thought about getting a bottle to bring with us. Not sure why but kombucha doesn’t seem to taste as good in the states.
Read moreOnto the food. The raw wrap is healthy, with a side of sprouted lentil and mung bean salad and some thick dips. The kimchi Mac and cheese was delicious! The oyster mushroom drumstick was also very unique! The fudge was pretty light.

Ok positive things first, the staff was friendly and if you like fermented food than this is your spot. Unfortunaly we didn't like the souper broth and the mac n cheese. But the reason for only three stars is the Raw truffle mix...Most of them were bland except the one with mint which was awful!😒I don't know if this is usually, but it tasted like toothpaste and we were not able to eat this small piece. Short after that we really get stomach pain and the bad taste of mint didn't get out of our mouth....

The nachos were amazing, probably don't need the rice. Had the mezze, the pates were tasty but some of the other ingerdients/items weren't to my liking. Non-verbal hubby enjoyed the nachos too and the wrap.

They had ingredients that were not in the description and for my particular taste I did not like it. Also, saw no potatoes in the "potatoe and ckickpea curry", it had rice though.

Stopped in today for some cakes, really wish I could have had lunch too! There were many interesting products for sale like kefirs and kombucha, and the menu included Mac n cheese and nachos. We had an assortment of the little raw cakes, I especially liked the salted caramel and chocolate ones.

What a lovely food stall in the English market! The best place that we visited in Cork and maybe even Ireland. We had some lunch and enjoyed it so much that we also took some to go on the ferry. We enjoyed the tostada and the soup with fresh daikon noodles. For the ferry, we got the mezze and the wrap. The wrap got a bit soft on the way but they were so nice to put the crackers in a separate box so they stayed fresh. All of the dishes were very tasted and clearly freshly made!

We also got 2 desserts, the lime and hibiscus. Both were very tasty, The pieces are small but that is perfect as they are very filling. Lastly, we also got some of the jalapeno cheese (vegan) crackers for home and those were also very tasty.
