A must visit for vegans in Cork! - Edit
Located in the English market and nestled amongst many meat stalls, My Goodness is a vegan and gluten free paradise that specialises in fermented probiotic products. We ordered the kimchi mac and cheese (with a king oyster mushroom drumstick) and the lentil stew special, washed down with a couple of kombuchas and a vegan snickers and lemon cheesecake for dessert! Everything was absolutely delicious! Really happy to support this ethical, eco conscious business! Also, the guy who served us was so friendly. He took the time to make recommendations and to explain all the dishes and how they were made.. it is clear he was really passionate about the business! He also gave us some great recommendations for other places to eat vegan food in the area. Would love to visit again the next time we're in Cork!

A very welcome and delicious sight in the English Market! - Edit
Amongst the endless meat options in the market, My Goodness is a shining beacon for any vegan struggling to find something to eat!! I got the Kimchi Mac and cheese which was SO GOOD - I finished it so fast!! I topped it with a mushroom drumstick which was yummy too, but if you’re just getting the Mac, it’ll still do more than satisfy. Got a vegan snickers for the road which was equally delicious! Incredible place, incredible food 😁

Absolut sensationelles Essen. Alles vegan und glutenfrei. Ich aß Kimchi Mac n Cheez mit einer Keule aus Austernpilze und Reispapier und es war einer der besten Mahlzeiten meines Lebens. Breite Auswahl und freundliche Bedienung.

I'm not a huge sauerkraut guy, but My Goodness is na exception. Such delicious food, such bold flavors, such great staff. Came all the way from Minneapolis and will be going again the next time we're in Cork!

Good vegan takeaway - Edit
I really like this place! The kombucha and kefir are all delicious and the dishes are also good but not all. The nachos and broth with noodles are delicious while other options are less good such as the raw wrap. Overall it's a great vegan takeaway and it would be nice if there were more in Cork like this one

Great! - Edit
I was happy to find a fully vegan place in Cork, even if it's just a little food stand. The person behind the counter suggested the nachos, and they were delicious. I wasn't a huge fan of the sweets I got, but the cheese was great.

Heavenly Nachos - Edit
Just amazing. The best vegan nachos I have ever had. And I live in LA! It’s a small stand inside the English Market and there is no sitting. Sharing the nachos with a my wife in a small corner hiding from the rain was just perfect romance.

Three things.... First the people are so nice, second the food is fantastic even if you are not dietary restricted, third the desserts are unbelievably good, oh and fourth the Kombucha is the best I've had! If you visit Cork and dont go to My Goodness then you will simply have to go back!

My goodness it was good - Edit
Healthy and hearty 100% vegan and organic menu. Visited on a cold and rainy day in Cork. I got the Super Broth with tempeh, it was good and filling and healthy. Also got some vegan cheese to take home. Staff were really friendly. No seating unfortunately which was awkward because it was lashing outside. A lot of places around the market sell dead animals, which is awful, so viewer beware.

Vegan in English Market - Edit
Delicious food, a vegan oasis in the English Market, which has its fair share of raw meat suppliers.
Read moreReally flavourful pasta (Mac and cheese). I also got an inventive mushroom "chicken wing" or corn dog, which had a lovely texture.
Definitely worth a visit. The only thing that is slightly unfortunate is the sign on the wall nearby commemorating Elizabeth Windsor's visit a few years ago, but that ain't their fault!
Pros: Friendly service, All vegan

Yummy vegan cheese, friendly staff - Edit
I stumbled upon this place by accident upon visiting Cork for a day - I'm always in for trying all and any types of vegan cheese, so I went for those here too . Both types I tried were freshly made, and I liked their taste and the creamy texture (they weren't hard at all - a bit like a block of spreadable cheese covered in herbs). The little "blocks" are small, but very filling, and - for what my experience with prices in Ireland was - they were priced fairly.
Read moreThe jalapeno crackers the staff recommended to go with the cheese were good too, and I liked both the taste and the texture, but the latter wasn't what I would have expected from something called crackers at all: it wasn't crumbly-crispy, it was hard, but flexible, and broke softly and without crumbs.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. If I ever return, I'll definitely try something from the menu!
Pros: tasty creamy soft vegan cheese, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: no seating

Deliciously healthy - Edit
My Goodness? They should be called My Greatness. This place offers some superb healthy and tasty dishes, raw cakes, kimchis and kefirs all to take away and scoff. This isn’t the usual boring “gut health” inspired menu either, with plenty of freshly made and inventively inspired options. I had the tempeh corn dog which came with a load of fantastic extras leaving me satisfied and full but not at all sluggish. The carrot cake was delicious too with slight hints of turmeric amongst the natural raw sweetness. Will definitely be going back next time I visit.

Absolutely delicious and 100% vegan! - Edit
It’s always such a luxury to come across a fully vegan spot. Great food and super friendly and informative owners. You can tell they put a lot of love and thought into this business and strive to be super eco conscious. The business is zero waste and they compost their take away containers and food scraps. We had the nachos, mac and cheeze with kimchi and an oyster mushroom drumstick, the snickers bar, and 2 glasses of homemade kombucha.

Cork's Only Vegan Restaurant! - Edit
It's a nice place and the desserts are particularly good, well worth a visit if you're a vegan in Cork seeing as it is currently the only vegan restaurant in the whole city! This should be a challenge for the best City in Ireland to do better on this front in 2023 though :)
