Clean and peaceful environment. The food is so good. I had the mango, ginger, lime juice, coconut chickpea curry soup, and the tamale plate. Highly recommend, everything was incredible.

I was in McAllen on business and found Prasad Foods using the HappyCow app. The two people who assisted me with the menu options were welcoming and very helpful with their descriptions. While there is a daily special, I opted for something different -- the barbacoa tacos a la carte. They were moderately spicy (I have a high tolerance for heat), with a rich flavor, and served on warmed corn tortillas with all the dressings. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. I had the pleasure of meeting "Art," the owner, when he heard I was visiting from out of town. He was extremely friendly and genuinely interested in my line of work and my own vegan journey. What a great find in McAllen! I will be returning for dinner before leaving town. Thank you, Art, and Prasad staff!

Stopped in for lunch and got the burger combo, which came with soup and their daily drink. I have no idea what I drank, because I took it to go, but it was fantastic! Staff was super nice, food was delicious, and there was definitely more I’d want to try!

Great place, sort of hidden in the plaza. Ironically right next to a meat market. The food is amazing and staff is very friendly. Highly recommend the super tacos. They also have vegan cheesecake

I come here often, the food is amazingly good. It seems pricy, but their portions are very generous. 2 tacos didn't sound filling but I struggled to finish them while their homemade soy crumble was spilling from the tortillas. Everything I've had is delicious. Their tamales are the best I've ever had. The staff are very kind and makes you feel welcome. Very highly recommend. Call in advanced for the menu items if you're wanting a specific dish.

I have become a frequenter at Prasad foods and really enjoy their food. Great atmosphere and everything is always organic many GF options as well. They recently opened their Sunday brunch and it was very yummy. 10/10 always recommend

Was so happy to hear that there was an all vegan restaurant in Mcallen. I was warned otherwise. But this location has such a nice menu. I had the daily special barbacoa which was spicy and flavorful. There were two but could have eaten 4! It came with zoodles and rice and lentil soup. I also ordered (don’t judge me) the nachos. Sooooo cheesy and good. Thought it was going to have more then just cheese but it was like eating real cheese. Scary.

Loved the food! It was full of flavor. The desserts are Amazing Too! Definitely stop by if you’re in town. I had the barbacoa taco, chicken salad, and strawberry filled coconut cupcake. All vegan and so very good!

I am amazed with Prasad Foods, the tamales are delicious, they have available mole jars to go, cupcakes and a different and innovative weekly menu available along with their specials. The chef is really attentive.

Naturalisssimo’s menu taken to a great comfy location. I love their “ground meat” taco with guacasalsa. Aguas frescas are great. The staff is very friendly. Cooks know how to make meals both tasty and nutritious.
