Serves meat, vegan options available. Has vegetable dishes with tofu. Also dim sum, boba tea. Open Mon-Thu 11:00am-9:30pm, Fri 11:00am-10:30pm, Sat 12:00pm-10:30pm, Sun 12:00pm-9:30pm.
This may be the best restaurant for a vegan or vegetarian dinner. Happy Cow Will only allowed four stars since it's not a completely vegetarian or vegan restaurant. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars. There were so many options to choose from that it took me a long time to pick out our dinner. My transitioning husband could not believe that tofu could taste so good. The waiter was nice and very knowledgeable about the vast menu options, especially how to tweak for any dietary restrictions.
We arrived after 9pm so they only prepare take-out orders that late, which we were perfectly happy with. We got the General Tso's Tofu (as recommended in another HC review), Broccoli in Garlic Sauce, and Sauteed Baby Bok Choy. Portions were good size and food was flavorful and tasty. Broccoli was still quite firm; we prefer a little softer/cooked longer. Bok choy and brown rice was just right. Plenty of sauce in each dish. Wanted to order dessert but the woman taking our order didn't know the ingredients, said they weren't made there and couldn't check the ingredients so we passed. Food was prepared quickly and was still hot when we got to our hotel 20 minutes away. Hubs was happy so yes, we'd eat there again.
I love their Kung Pao Tofu & fried vegetarian spring rolls! I also love their vegetable lo mein. Staff is very friendly but it seems like I only see the same (very few) people. Sometimes I have to call a couple times before I get someone to answer the phone.
Hop Tung has a really impressive selection for vegan/vegetarian customers. Their food is always beautifully made, and their servings are typically quite large. However, I've noticed that the establishment is usually low on staff, which means that service tends to get slow, especially when traffic is busy.
Not every dish here is vegan or vegetarian but they do have however, a vegetarian menu which has a decent amount of en trees. The general tso's tofu is awesome; so sweet and very spicy. Also very very good tofu and vegetable noodle soup. Overall a very good restaurant to at least check out. I would recommend you try the tofu spring rolls with the peanut/spicy sauce. Absolutely fantastic.

They've just got a really solid menu. Great food and boba tea. Options for my meat-eating husband and my vegetarian diet.
