Interesting “cheese” - Edit
The crust was amazing and most of the toppings were good (I had the herbivore pizza), but the ”vegan cheese, melting oat” that they use doesn’t really melt, and I’m not a fan of it. Maybe it’s just personal taste.
Read moreI also found their online ordering system confusing. It automatically sent me an SMS saying there was an issue with my order and to ring the store, but I tried a few times and didn’t get an answer. So, I ended up asking when I went in to pick it up at the scheduled time but they said it was all fine, and didn’t know why I got that SMS. Confusing experience. Would not order online again.
I’ve heard great reviews about their waitstaff, so I’m sure it’s much better to just sit in and eat.
Adding to another review, speaking of other options, I’m a fan of Pizzarazzi. They have a great vegan cheese that actually melts and works well! I think Pizzarazzi uses the same vegan cheese as The Brick Factory. (Another good pizza option, but they can’t be listed as they serve lamb.)
Pros: Great quality crust.
Cons: Kinda pricy. , The “vegan cheese” isn’t great. , Ordering online was confusing.

Worth a try! But... - Edit
The vegan herbivore and forager pizzas were nice but there is definitely room for improvements. I agree with below comment in that the non vegan pizzas looked so epic but cannot say the same for the Vegan pizzas unfortunately. The spiced Cauliflower had a nice Indian-inspired twist to it which I thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the interior 'metro station' decor and cannot fault the service. Not a fan of the backlash from the owner though.

Vegans, if you're looking for a good cheap pizza head to La Bella and the get vegetation without cheese. It's cheap and delicious!
If you want the best pizza in Australia and easily the best pizza in Hobart, go to Ti Ama. Their pizzas are so good and the same price as Metropolitan.
Im not returning to Metro because of the response I received from the owner. Ivm not interested in supporting businesses that refuse constructive criticism from customers.
Pros: A few vegan pizzas, Vegan sides, Lots of seating indoors
Cons: Room for improvement in pizzas , Not heaps of options, Rude owner

Pretty Good - Edit
The spiced cauliflower was delicious! We also had 2 of the vegan pizzas that were pretty tasty but not the best of vegan pizzas. Whatever vegan cheese was on it actually tasted a lot like feta.
Read moreThe manager was super friendly and nice.
We noticed as we waited for our takeaway that the non-vegan pizzas looked way better!
Definitely room for improvement on the vegan pizzas but overall it was pretty good and the restaurant atmosphere was quite nice.

Great pizza using delicious vegan cheese - Edit
Got some pizzas delivered to my hotel via their own delivery service. Delivery driver was lovely and friendly and the pizza tasted great with delicious cheese from Lauds Plant-based foods.
