Delicious burritos, awesome vegan options - Edit
The vegan options are clearly labeled and delicious. We enjoyed our burritos on the square, and paid 100 pesos per person. I highly recommend! (Try the huitlacoche)

One of the best burritos I’ve ever had — and I live in the Mission! - Edit
Humberto the owner is super cool, and explained to us what exactly every ingredient was for the vegan burritos. I had the championes and my husband had the rojas con papas. The burritos are seared on the outside (omg yum!) and topped with homemade salsa as hot as you can take it! I’m going back to try the huitlacoche (bad corn) today, that apparently is considered a superfood. Humberto showed it to us as he prepared it, as well as photos of what it looks like on the cob. Look it up, it’s wild! Can’t wait to go back for more!

Yummiest burritos in San Miguel - Edit
Amazing range of different tortillas, from chipotle, nopal, chile negro and normal. We had a burrito each and had to take one for the road! Made with care and a good conversation from Humberto!

Delicious made to order burritos - Edit
Really nice chef, owner. He speaks some English and was very patient with our rusty Spanish. He always has several interesting vegan options. Several salsa options all delicious. He makes his own tortillas—classic and others that are spicy. Delicious burritos. Highly recommend.

Mamá Mela offers delicious vegan burritos! I went with my friend and we each had a burrito and then took two to go. Options today were a delicious squash based burrito and a mushroom burrito with huitlacoche. They make flavored tortillas in house. The owner chef knew exactly what vegan meant and was so nice. We will be back again before our vacation ends.
