Tasty vegan options, good for dining in mixed company - Edit
Of all of the non-veg restaurants in Denver, Linger is one of the most vegan-friendly, and with some of the tastiest vegan options. We appreciate that it’s employee-owned.
Read moreLinger is a cousin of Root Down, which is also similarly good, but generally we prefer the vegan options here at Linger (though we can’t say that definitively since the menus at both places change seasonally).
Perennial faves are the veganized versions of the kadai pakora, mushroom and cactus tostadas, Asian lettuce wraps, Philippino spring rolls, beet salad, masala dosa (legit). The bao buns and pad Thai are worth a try, too.
Service is quite good and friendly. There are pleasant views from the dining terrace.
This place gets mobbed, so do make reservations.
Enjoy!

Great vegan options - Edit
Amazingly delicious and creative food. From the dosa to the Bombay nachos and tofu skewers, everything was so flavorful and well done.

Good but expensive - Edit
Like their sister restaurants, this food is always a safe bet for being good. Also an excellent spot to bring non-vegans who don’t want to eat vegan food.
Read moreMinus a star for being quite expensive for what it is. You can definitely find better vegan food for cheaper elsewhere in Denver.

Lots of vegan options - Edit
Linger has a number of clearly identified vegan options and the servers are able to answer questions. We had the 3 vegan bao buns, cauliflower skewer, mushroom skewer, tofu skewer, and spring rolls. The tiramisu was also excellent.

Food not bad, but way overpriced - Edit
Five of us came here for dinner with me being the only vegan in the group. I picked this place because of the menu variety and that there seems to be something for everyone. The fact that so many items can be made vegan and/or GF was perfect for us. The trendy vibe was also a plus.
Read moreWe ordered a whole bunch of stuff. Food was good for the most part but not great. I myself tried the vegan bun, the tofu skewer, the mushroom skewer, the spring rolls, the masala dosa, and the plantain dessert. Nothing really jumped out and made me want to come back. Portions were also small across the board, which is why I can't quite wrap my head around the price point. Like, charging $25 for a ho-hum, single portioned pad Thai before even adding any protein (that's another $7) is just ridiculous. The same goes for the dosa. It was crispy and all, but the masala missed the mark and the coconut chutney was bland. Definitely not worth $23. As if the food isn't overpriced enough, they add a 5% "fair wage & benefits" surcharge to all checks. I wholeheartedly agree that everyone, especially tipped workers, should earn a fair wage, but please just work it into your overall menu prices, pay your workers more, and don't hit us with a fee at the end. Our bill came to $300 with tips included, or $60 per person, which I thought was very expensive for what we got.
As I said at the top, this place is good for people with different dietary restrictions dining together, even though I didn't find the vegan options all that exciting. Just prepare to rack up a decent bill. And if your group is all vegan/vegetarian, don't bother.

Great for groups with different dietary needs - Edit
I love how vegan friendly this restaurant is, the menu is clearly marked and their staff are well educated on vegan accommodations. My partner isn't vegan and it's so nice to go to a restaurant we can both enjoy and even share dishes. The vibe is great, including the rooftop bar.

pad thai - Edit
i went for dinner and got the pad thai. it was a smaller portion for the price of the meal, and tofu was $5 extra to add on. overall pad thai was solid. it was reassuring that the vegan sign was in the pad thai too. wait staff was super friendly!

Linger is good and has a diverse menu. Vegan items are clearly labeled and the location is great. I definitely prefer the other locations more (Root Down being my favorite)

Great food and service - Edit
So many vegan options, but they are by request. Really nice vibe to the place, and Lauren, our server, was terrific. It was VERY busy on a Tuesday night. Making a reservation on Open Table might be a good idea.

Excellent - Edit
This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. At least half of the items can be made vegan. We had bao buns, spring rolls, egg rolls, and lettuce rolls and they were unique and fantastic. We also had the Panna cotta dessert and that was great too. Definitely recommend the rooftop patio. Service was also excellent. Do not miss this when you come to Denver.

Loved this place! More than I expected to. Very nice atmosphere, lovely and airy in the summer

We had......
Vegan bao trio - so good, possibly my favorite course. Flavorsome sauces, and the tofu was perfectly crispy on there outside
Impossible meat spring rolls - these were good, but they didn't taste terribly different to others I've had
Pad Thai - this was delicious, yes the sauce on the side is a little different to typical pad Thai sauce but it was delicious. Very generous tofu helping
Fried plantain dessert - good, not great
Panna Cotta - actually thought this wasn't too good, quite bland and smart savory with too many spices

Like Root Down, there are a number of great vegan choices here and the menu does have non vegan food so great compromise for mixed dining company. Such a cool space, good bar, delicious food.

Delicious bao buns and impossible sliders. Spring rolls are yummy too & love that they are meaty, normally stuck with veggie ones as a vegan.

Super Cool - Edit
I didn’t have any of their food this time during my visit! But I did love their drinks, they have a really awesome drink menu. I think it’s also really cool and creepy that it used to be a mortuary and they use the old clipboards from then for their drinks. Great service as well.

Great food, atmosphere and service - Edit
Really enjoyed our night here - the food was great - I like the street food concept. If you have had the real thing in the countries where the foods are from I am not sure it will meet expectations. But this is a great interpretation and a posh twist on them. We had the tofu Bao Buns and the Masala Dosai. Really enjoyed them. The drinks and service were great too.

Good, similar to other tapas restaurants - Edit
I liked Linger, but I was not blown away by it. The menu is a nice balance between different regions, only two or so of the regions having options that are both gluten free and vegan. 4 or 5 regions having vegan options. The service was wonderful, they were knowledgeable about the ingredients of their food. It was also a really classy environment, which was a nice change of pace from the car I had been in for a while prior to arriving.
Read moreThe food was really good. I tried the crepe and the sweet potato waffle fries. My partner had the falafel lettuce cups, but was not terribly impressed by them, though he said they were good. I think my favorite part of my meal was the sauces they give with the crepe...they were delicious. The drink menu was also very nice, I had to choose between several options that sounded good.
I would say that the experience is good, though it is expensive.

Very nice place - Edit
I'm not sure what more I can add to the reviews that hasn't already been said in the other reviews. This place is upscale, the food is very good, and they are very vegan friendly. This is a great place for a group of vegans to go or a great place for a mixed group of vegans and omnis. There's plenty for everyone. This is the perfect place to entertain clients, where you can get a vegan meal without having to interrogate the waiter in front of the client.
