Disappointment - Edit
I arrived early (around 7.30) so the cabinet was still empty. Therefore I tried to choose from the cooked breakfast menu on the wall. It was mostly egg-based but they mentioned a vegan mushroom benedict option. I ordered it and I do appreciate the cook came up to my table to ask what exactly I did and did not eat. (I do not understand though why she asked if I ate eggs, when I clearly ordered vegan.)
Read moreHowever, the result was a bit disappointing. Not a large portion and the hollandaise was replaced with just loads of vegan mayo. For a price of about 23 dollars, I honestly expected more.

Read moreA quick explanation for why our cook asked about hollandaise - a lot of our guests order vegan because they don’t want dairy, or would prefer mushrooms to poached eggs, so “a vegan bene with hollandaise and bacon” is not uncommon. It seems like a nonsensical question, but it does have a logical origin.

Great cafe with delicious vegan options - Edit
Keep going back for breakfast. The staff are lovely. The toasted sandwiches, vegan baking and other options are great.

I was so glad to finally try the typical cafe food in a vegan version : cheese scone, sausage rolls, mince and cheese pie and a delicious peas and roasted veggies salads

Searching for a vegan serving cafe was a challenge. This hit the spot. They were not wobbled when I asked could they make me a vegan breakfast. Look what I got! And a really lovely plum sauce on the side.
