Finding out about Leezen opened up a world of organic produce to me. I was ecstatic to find a grocery store that reliably carries a variety of different fruits and vegetables from mostly local farmers who don’t use chemical fertilizers and pesticides. The main downside is that they use a lot of plastic packaging, but this is a common issue in all Taiwanese grocery stores. I am a big fan of their organic sprouted unsweetened soy milk, too. They carry Beyond Burgers and Omnipork in the freezer section. I would not recommend getting tempeh here, however: it’s definitely overpriced. Many of their snacks contain palm oil, which is an issue with almost all processed foods manufactured in Asia. They rarely have even one bread item that is vegan, which is unfortunate. But I’ll keep coming back for that soy milk and fresh produce.

Pros: organic produce, organic soy milk

Cons: closes early on Sundays, expensive tempeh
