Delicious - Edit
Delicious artisanal bakery using quality ingredients. Unfortunately I went there with my partner who insisted on trying some of the baked goods. They sell out early so I recommend leaving your partner in bed then eating everything you buy alone. Afterwards say ‘they didn’t have anything vegan’ in your best sad voice. Make sure to remove any crumbs from your beard before doing this.

Go early morning - Edit
Vegan options and allergens are clearly labelled (loaves, 2 types of braided cookies and a savoury sesame croissant are all vegan) but this bakery is really popular so things sell out fast, hence why people are reporting nothing is vegan
Read moreThe cookies were absolutely delicious, we’ll be coming back for more. I’d rate this 5 stars if Happy Cow allowed

Mouth-watering breads - Edit
Amazing breads! Highly worth making this a breakfast spot during your time in Split. Everything we tried was fantastic and it was easy to find the vegan options because everything is labeled with ingredients and allergens, so even if the staff doesn’t know, you just need to read (but it’s in Croatian, so you may need google translate). The main vegan options are a savory multi seed croissant type pastry, a walnut and cinnamon braid cookie/pastry, and their whole bread loaves. Everything was delicious but the croissant was my favorite. The woman who ran the shop is delightful but may not speak English.

I was excited to try this place after seeing the listing on HappyCow, however, I was told they had nothing vegan when I visited.

Delicious 🍞 - Edit
Having struggled to find a quick vegan bite, this place was a breath of fresh air. They don’t have many vegan options but they had 2 sweet breads and 2 raw cakes available. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly.

Has a couple vegan options and the workers are happy to point the. out which is great. Has a savoury type roll which was good but a little dry. And the cinnamon circular pastry which was delicious.

Not so many options - Edit
They had just 3 options: two breads and 1 kind of cookie. But hei, the cookie and the nuts and fruit breads were good ;)

Excellent sourdough, few (if any) vegan treats - Edit
The bread here is so good, you just need to get in earlyish because they run out of most varieties by the early afternoon.
Read moreI read somewhere that they also have vegan pastries, pizza and the like, but I haven't found that to be the case.
The ingredients are listed in Croatian, and most things have either eggs (jaja) or milk (mlijeko).
