We stopped at Ela’s multiple times while in Split because the vegan chocolate ice cream was stunning!
Read moreThe chocolate flavour was so rich and the texture was so creamy, I haven’t had a vegan ice cream like that in a while.
It was also nice that the cone was vegan as some of the other ice cream/gelato places have cones that contain egg.
The queues to this place aren’t as busy as soon places, especially at night so less waiting in the heat!

My partner and I have visited Ela's every day of our trip so far. The vegan dark chocolate is gorgeous, as are the sorbets we've tried. There are several options on the right-hand side, the staff are lovely and happy to explain which options are vegan-friendly. The cones are vegan friendly too which is an environmental win.

We had the vegan chocolate and tropical fruits. The chocolate is quite bitter so if you prefer a sweeter chocolate this isn’t for you. Tropical fruits is delicious. They confirmed the waffle cones are vegan. €2/scoop

Tried several gelaterias in Split and I would definitely go back to this one. I felt quite adventurous and chose a scoop of pineapple/basil and one of blueberry/lavender (even though I dont really like lavender, this had very subtle taste and paired nicely with blueberry). Both flavours were absolutely amazing.

This ice cream shop had 8 vegan options when we went there, most of them were fruity but there was chocolate as well. Really enjoyed the chocolate and the banana blueberry flavors! The cone ist vegan as well and you can pay by card.
