Love the wok fried rice! - Edit
Was hesitant to go based on some previous reviews but I’m so glad i did! The service was excellent and the wok fried rice is delicious. Bonus or con depending on your personal views, the menu ranged from meat to vegan which makes things easier when you are travelling with non vegans. Would definitely go again to try the other dishes!

Fine nothing special - Edit
The restaurant is instragram perfect. But the food wasn't special and overpriced. The dumplings were flavourless and the dough was not soft enough. The vegan dessert was also flavourless. When I order apple and cinnamon I except warm and rich flavours, but this was bland. We thought it was too expensive for the flavours and the portion size.

Lunch and Dinner - Edit
Whilst staying in Split my partner and I have enjoyed eating at Baza twice for lunch and dinner. The Vegan options are clearly labelled and the pricing is average for the area. The service was excellent and the food was tasty.

Great service. Several options. Tasty food. - Edit
My partner and I have eaten here twice over the last couple of days - once for lunch and once for dinner. We were impressed that there were several vegan options across the menu. Between us, we tried the nori rolls, vegan wok and the burgers - all were delicious. The service was also fab.

Good food in the middle of Split - Edit
Nice restaurant and bar right in the middle of split. Good food selection with clear labels. The tacos were stuffed to the brim and very tasty, they serve them cold which was nice due to the heat.

I liked it! - Edit
There is a nice location and the walls are covered in amusing posters. Really plentiful vegan options, but the music may be a little too loud for some. They do breakfast and brunch too. I had their vegan burger + fries:
Read moreCrispy soft bun with mild, creamy, refreshing vegan mayo and the occasional salad vegetable. The presentation was particularly good, however it was extremely awkward to eat as the lentil based burger was too large for the bun and it was very slippery due to all the mayonnaise. Also, the fries were a tad plain and it took a little while. But these are just details and I give it 4 stars because I enjoyed the food.
Pros: Good well labelled vegan options , Nice building and location
Cons: Couldn’t eat in a dignified manner! , (But that’s probably my fault for choosing , a burger)

There were a few options for vegans - would love to come back for breakfast to try the vegan tortilla!

Decent option - Edit
The food here was just okay. We had the tacos and dumplings to start and risotto and burger for mains. Everything was nice enough but nothing amazing! It was nice to have plenty of options though and the food was clearly labelled vegan. Staff were lovely. Food came quick

Pretty good! - Edit
Really surprised by the quality and quantity of this! I was only expecting a wrap but it came with tasty lentil patties and (I think) home made hummus and guacamole, roasted veg and fresh salad. Pretty good for a none vegan restaurant, as the vegan ‘option’ can often can pretty dire.

Baza in Split - Edit
We going Baza tonight! Last night was spent wandering around Split searching (in vain) for a restaurant serving a decent choice of vegan and non vegan food. On the end I resorted to pasta in a tomato sauce (uninspiring). To find Baza with a choice was exciting! The vegan risotto was wonderful and it was a generous portion. Lovely cocktail to go with it!

Good food in a good location - Edit
Food was overall very good. The vegan risotto tasted great but probably wouldn't call it a risotto - more of a fried rice.

Great Spot - Edit
Whole section of the menu is vegan with multiple good options. Got the vegan wok with rice and it was one of the best asian bowls I’ve had, good portion for the price. Great place if dining with non vegan people.

The risotto was tasty, a good size and the vegan taco starter was nice too. The vibe was cool (definitely a city vibe). The staff seemed friendly and the drinks were good too.

Would give 5* if possible - Edit
We went here several times during our stay in Split and were always very happy. They have a decent selection of vegan options and everything we tried was very delicious. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. The prices are also fair especially compared to the few all vegan restaurants in the city.

Appreciate the vegan options but avoid the cocktails - Edit
I would give this place 2 but it gets an extra star just for having clearly labelled vegan options which is not always easy to find in Split and we were grateful for that. The options however were limited. We both had a various sort of wrap, and although edible, they were lacklustre. I had the oat pudding for dessert which I would not recommend but I appreciate that they at least try to offer a vegan dessert option. I would avoid the cocktails completely. We ordered a long island iced tea and a mojito at a cost of nearly €9 each, and they were undrinkable. They were far too strong and had no flavour. The mojito tasted like lots of rum, soda water and ice and the long island iced tea was worse. I asked the bartender to sweeten the mojito and he grumpily handed me 2 packets of sugar which not surprisingly, did nothing to improve the drink. In the end we left them almost untouched and the staff did not ask if there was a problem with them. So overall a mixed bag. Eat here if you're in need of some vegan food, but don't expect a lot and don't waste your money on the cocktails.

Central location with some vegan options. - Edit
Easy to find, the location is very good in the central of Split.
Read moreThe menu included 3 vegan main courses and some starters.
I had the vegan dumplings as a starter and I want to give that at least 4 stars, it was very tasty and the only pointer is that I wanted more of them 😊
As main course I had the Vegan Rhapsody which was a mix of grilled vegetables, falafel and a tortilla wrap.
Staff was good and though the place was very busy they helped out with some minor incidents.
My wife didnt have any salt on her rice, and the guacamole was missing on mine as well as my daughters Vegan Rhapsody.
On the plus side the food got to the table fast from the order.
We still recommend the place, but maybe some more seasoning and a slightly cheaper menu to get top score.
