Awesome quiet spot with good food

The staff was pleasant and nice.
Vegan choices available.
Beware of the deers.
Best place near the main island's shrine. 👌

Very good food and incredibly wonderful place

Just behind the Kiyomori shrine, in a beautifully quiet area in front of the ocean. Serves traditional Japanese food and has a few vegan options. We stopped just for a beer and some fries looking at the torii gate in the water, and then stayed for lunch. It was unexpectedly good. You can seat under the trees and it's beautiful but watch out for the deers, they will try to steal your food!
I would definitely return.
