Reopened still vegan options - Edit
Fantastic museum with a cafe that has now reopened. Some vegan options available - soup, sandwich, vegan sausages on a roll. Other vegan specials and cakes though none on the day we visited.

Very good scones - Edit
We stopped here for (vegan) scones and a drink after a lovely walk in the glen. The scones were very good with vegan spread and jam. They had a number of savoury vegan options on the menu too.

Great vegan options including cakes. - Edit
Lovely cafe attached to a fascinating museum. Good range of vegan options - soup and two mains plus 3 vegan cake choices when I visited. You can sit in the sunny conservatory with local art and crafts displayed, and look out on ancient cairns.

Unexpected find - Edit
Went for lunch and v happy at the 4 vegan options on that day, including a hummus and carrot wrap, avo on toast and oatcakes and hummus. Also a vegan choc slice (outstanding). Also hot choc was vegan.

pleasantly surprised!! - Edit
Great little place, mostly vegetarian with explicitly labelled vegan options. Garlic mushroom focacia was lovely. Could do with a vegan cake option though😉 Also a very interesting place to visit and very convenient as there aren't many vegetarian friendly places in the area. I honestly didn't expect much from this place in terms of food options....but was very pleasantly surprised!!
