Great options - Edit
The menu is extensive, and they understand what a vegan can eat. The staff were very nice and eager to please but be warned it takes a while to get your food. Ordered Aloo Paratha, Vegetable Shabnam, Tandoori Bharwan Aloo and steamed rice. The portions are huge. A lot of other dishes are easily veganizable.

nice dinner - Edit
Indian restaurant in a nice neighborhood in Kigali, only walking distance from my hotel. The whole venue is really nice, and the serving personnel was very attentive and knowledgeable and helped me choose delicious vegan options. I did not like my cocktail, but the food was very good, albeit one starter and one entree could easily be shared for two.

A must-go for vegs in Kigali - Edit
Went with family friends who have lived in Kigali for a while now, and took me because they know I’m vegan! The menu is literally like a small book; there is a ‘vegetarian’ section for both appetizers and entrees with many vegan dishes (and easily veganizable dishes), all packed with protein and flavor. It’s probably the best Indian vegan food I’ve ever had. Hands down.

Read moreLarge portions, good service, dont have to wait 2 hours, fair price for what you get... we each got a curry, rice, naan and 2 drinks for 11000 RWF... 2 mains between 3 would be plenty
Pros: Heaps of vegan options, cheap for what you get , western quality, Rwandan prices
Cons: none

yummy lunch - Edit
We had lunch here before heading to the Volcanoes National Park to see the gorillas. The menu clearly separated the vegetarian items under each section. We chose items that appeared to be vegan and confirmed with the waiter that we wanted no dairy (cream, ghee, etc) in any of it. The four of us all shared our dishes and it was absolutely delicious. Dal, kofta, curry, a potato dish (can't remember the name) with rice and roti. Since it was a late lunch, the place was mainly empty, so we received attentive service. We definitely enjoyed our experience here.

Cons: not all vegan
