Fair Indian - Edit
Vegetarian options in Kigali are not many. This place is hidden in an alley, friendly staff.

Best Indian food and great price - Edit
For 6000 francs you can get a very filling vegan meal. As with anywhere in Kigali, you just need to repeat the word “vegan” and say no dairy or butter. My dinner last night was exceptional and the staff/owners couldn’t be nicer. Walk up the stairs and to the right and you’ll see a restaurant.

It's quite inexpensive, and I worked my way through as much of the menu as I could in 3 days.
Go here!

Wonderful food and Wonderful Hospitality - what more can you ask for - Edit
Absolutely thrilled to be able to add this listing as well as the first review. This is a hidden gem in Kigali - the only veg restaurant I know. I came across it asking other ethnic Indians and boy, was it worth it. I ate here three times in 2 days and took food to go for 2 days! Owner couple Vipul Vyas and wife Preeti are both from Saurashtra region of Gujarat, India - a region famed for hospitality and chivalry. Nice and spicy food that can be adjusted to your taste. Many items can also be made vegan. Many items can be taken on safaris since they can stay unspoiled for a week or two. Must try their Thali. All items are usually presented with a cornucopia of chutneys and sauces. This is one place you can't go wrong!
