I saw this take-away from the metro, so I decided to get off Business Bay and investigate. (I don’t have mobile internet here, otherwise I could have checked on happycow.)
Read moreI’m really divided on this. On the one hand, they offer inexpensive and easy accessible vegan food at a gas station, on the other hand, the name is highly misleading.
Often I have found found myself in a situation when no decent eatery is around, just a gas station or some 7/11-like open-late store. I just need something to eat, anything, but the best vegan stuff that’s available are some crisps and oreos. In situations like this, such a take-away would be very much appreciated.
Undeniably though, the name is misleading, and that shouldn’t be taken lightly. At least, as long as we agree, that words still have a meaning. There are couple of clearly marked vegan items (also, the non-vegan items are marked as “non vegan”).
There are no seats inside, it’s a simple take-away with a microwave, providing an affordable quick bite, merely convenience food, to fill an empty stomach, not to indulge in delicacies. It’s easy, quick and inexpensive, it doesn’t make a claim to be fancy; yet, obviously, it makes the claim to be vegan, which, obviously again, isn’t entirely true.
I took a vegan chicken wrap, which was ok. Fresh orange juice, too. Service was spotless. Staff is aware of veganism. Also, they still promote veganism in a way, I claim.

Decent takeaway options - Edit
At first I was quite excited to discover this place walking by, in a gas station of all places! However, as others have noted, this is not all vegan despite what the outside signage suggests. That said, the vegan options were clearly marked.
Read moreI ordered the vegan butter chicken wrap, and two samosas, plus a water, for under 20 AED. Good deal in Dubai! The wrap was quite fresh / tasty, as were the samosas. Will visit again when in Business Bay despite the misleading signs.

I like the vegan wraps and samosas (little dpicy, perfect). Had once the vegan lasagne as well and was good too. No sitting possibilities, take away only...

Half of the food there labeled „non vegan“…. Disappointing….I wouldn’t even call it a restaurant, since there is obviously only an microwave in the shop.😒

Extremely misleading, you would assume everything is vegan when it's called "Just Vegan", but they're selling animal corpses there. Ridiculous.
