Hidden vegan gem - Edit
I was not expecting to find a menu with such original vegan dishes in this rural area. There were about a dozen vegan tapas to choose from. I had the soft shell taco’s with chickpeas and cauliflower that had a really nice cilantro salsa on the side. Also the meatless balls in rich tomato sauce were good. Usually I do not have desert, but the salted chocolate cake was really moist and good! And all very reasonably priced.

Very good vegan tapas - Edit
Lots of different options and bits to try. Reasonably priced. The whole menu is now tapas style, vegan options include patatas bravas, sticky chilli tofu, vegan haggis, a couple different tacos.

Vegan chef! - Edit
Great number of vegan tapas options at this middle of nowhere pub. The menu includes meat, fish & dairy but the fact that one of the chefs is vegan and has developed the menu herself gives confidence in the approach and quality. With very few options in the region, this is a brilliant resource.

Amazing! - Edit
There were lots of vegan options available which was a lovely surprise for a rural hotel. They have a vegan chef who makes the loveliest dishes. My partner and I had: cauliflower bites, mushroom pie and mash, cashew creamy pasta and the chocolate pot for dessert. Everything was delicious and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Such a warm atmosphere too. Highly recommend!

Surprisingly delightful - Edit
I was shocked that the restaurant had so many vegan options and the dishes I tried were delicious. My partner and I had; cauliflower bites and tofu chips to start, followed by a mushroom pie and chips and cream cashew cheese and squash pasta with garlic bread. We ended with a vegan cheese board - mainly because we were amazed they had one and it was great.
