Nice centrally located store. Have to be honest, all we did was pop in and get a few bottles of tonic water and ginger ale on offer. Good store, good range of vegan food items. The best you’re going to get in South Shields that’s for sure.

If you happen to be in South Shields there is indeed a Holland and Barrett amongst all of the meat eating places. As a local I visit occasionally when stocks need replenishing such as almond butter, blackberry jam, seeds, miso paste and fake meats to name a few. Compared to city branches such as Newcastle, the selection is a little limited but within the deli section you can still purchase pies, chicken pieces, roasts and vegan cheeses. As with all outlets there are quite often manager specials and a penny sales in store where you can get some good deals. This is only on selected items though.
