Could be better

I've been wanting to try this place since it opened and I finally decided to order my Friday night takeaway from here 😊 I love that the menu is clearly labelled with allergens and what is vegan! There's plenty of vegan starters, however the mains are lacking. The starters I tried were the salt and chilli aubergines and the gobi manchurian- the Manchurian was definitely my favourite, I found the aubergines quite dry and lacking flavour- you definitely need a dip with these! As for the curry, I got the chutnify which is the only curry labelled vegan on the menu (you might be able to get others with vegetables, I'm not 100% sure)- the flavour was nice enough, however, it was swimming in oil which really put me off eating much of it. The garlic rice was lovely with plenty big chunks of garlic which I love. The Bombay chips were ridiculously covered in chilli powder and flakes, way too much- I like spice but they were on another level and quite dry. Unsure if I would order again....maybe if they introduced more vegan options in the future 😊

Opening week - hit and miss...

I'm a big fan of Indian street food so I was excited to visit during opening week. Menu is a little limited, especially the mains, so we pretty much ordered every vegan dish available, requesting the manchurian veggie balls as a main. The order included Punjabi samosas, onion bhajis, salt and chilli aubergines, manchurian veggie balls, chutnify, rice and Bombay fries.

All the food was freshly prepared and smelt amazing, as I waited to collect and take home to devour and highlights were most definitely the onion bhaji, chutnify and samosas, which were spiced and seasoned well. The remaining dishes were the opposite sadly, which was such a shame.

Not ruling out another visit but our experience was very hit and miss.
