Pros: Veganer Kaiserschmarren , Sehr kurze Wartezeiten
Cons: Überschaubare Auswahl

Various options, but not great - Edit
The vegan schnitzels (I tried the corn one and the celeriac one) are simple, not bad, but nothing to write home about. As you have to pay for the sides separately, the dishes are a bit expensive for what they are. Wouldn't come back here.

Pros: Various vegan options , Friendly service , Various vegan dips
Cons: Sides ordered separately

Hey Johannes😄
Read moreSad to hear that we couldn't provide you with a good experience.
All of our dishes are handmade and our ingredients are locally sourced - maybe thats why its a bit more expensive for your taste.
As you said, our menu works by "mix-and-match" almost like a tapas restaurant. You can also order sizes "normal" or "small". In this way, everyone can chose exactly as much as their appetite tells them and we only have a small fraction of the food waste a restaurant chain our size normally produces.
We would love it if you gave us a second chance - nowadays, we have two new vegan specials - a red beet Schnitzel and a celery salad. Even if not, we thank you for taking the time to write a review ❤️
All the best,

Vegan schnitzel is kind of a joke tbh - Edit
They had two vegan options. One was not available and the other one just tasted like veggie with a very strange breading. Nothing like a real breading. Potato salad was good.
Read morePros: Good potato salad
Cons: Not many options , Vegan breading not good

hello jessana,
Read morethank you so much for taking the time to write a review.
Our vegan Corn-Schnitzel mixture is made fresh every day - sometimes if the demand is high, it can run out in the middle of the shift and takes some time to be mixed again - seems like this was the case when you were visiting.
Our other vegan option (the one you had) is celery in a chickpea-parsley-breading. Sad to hear the breading was not up your alley.
If you like to give us another chance, we have two new vegan specials - a beetroot Schnitzel and a celery salad. Even if not, we wish you all the best❤️

A vegan dream in a meat dominated city - Edit
They offer two vegan Schnitzel and a lot of vegan sides. You can also have „snack“ versions of the Schnitzel so you can try both. There is also a possibility to get the Kaiserschmarren vegan in different versions.
Read moreThe staff is extremely friendly. There was a big group coming in when we wanted to leave. So everyone was busy. But no problem. You can pay via a QR code at the table without having to wait.

Traditional German Food with Vegan Options - Edit
HeimWerk is the place to go if you want a more traditional Bavarian meal. Their menu clearly labels what is vegan and they have English menus available if you need. They have two vegan schnitzel options in addition to three vegetarian schnitzel options. Most of their sides are vegan and you can get their kaiserschmarrn made vegan for dessert (just make sure you let them know you want it vegan). We got the Vegan Corn Schnitzel with roasted potatoes and the Vegan Celery Schnitzel with potato salad. Both were good, but I preferred the flavor and texture of the corn schnitzel. Their menu items comes in both “meal” and “snack” sizes, so if you are having a late lunch and don’t want to ruin your dinner you can get a smaller portion. Atmosphere was very “hip” and the staff was friendly. Prices were reasonable and the location was within walking distance to the Marienplatz.

Good vegan schnitzel and sides - Edit
There are a couple of vegan choices here, and it’s nice to be able to eat vegan versions of a traditional dish.
Read moreI had the ‘celery’ schnitzel- which I think was actually celeriac and it was really good. We also had sides of potato salad, roast potatoes, and hot carrots and courgettes, all of which were vegan. It was a welcome change to get a delicious and filling hot meal in a city full of sandwiches!
There were a couple of desserts which could be veganised but I was too full to try them. Next time!
